It is indeed absolutely gorgeous in the morning.Enjoy the typical calicut snacks and ice orathi from the vendors. Note: Every now and then random people may approach you asking for money. commmon excuses i heard recently are " my petrol is over.ineed to get somewhere urgent"."can you please give me some money for bus fare."Kindly dont encourage this sort of behaviour.

Best place in Calicut to hang out in the evening or morning and with friends, and family. I love to walk through the beach in the evening with the beautiful sunset is something special vibe. There will be rush in weekend days. Great place for photography lovers.. beautiful scenery.so far good cleanliness.You can get to the water and get your feet wet but that's about it. There are some stone pillars around which add to the beauty of the area.

Sorry to see beach in this condition. During my last visit (aug 2023), I found the beach to be unclean, with murky sea water and the unpleasant sight of city waste drainage flowing openly into the sea, causing a strong and unpleasant odour. I hope that steps will be taken by authorities to improve the cleanliness and environmental quality of this beach in future.

Very nice place to relax and enjoy the views of the Arabian Sea. Well maintained and very clean area.

Not too much crowded and we can also spend plenty of time with family without any disturbance. There is a walkway near the beach. Walkway is designed with wall pictures and plenty of space for sitting also. We can go to beach also from there. Better to visit evening time. Children's will definitely like this spot. No tickets for entry. It's completely free but for parking we need to pay 30rs outside.
