Soulitude by The Riverside - Hotel in Chanfi, South Gola Range - Nainital, India

Not my first time to this place but never ceases to amaze me. Great food, great location and excellent staff is how I would summarize this property. If you are the ones who need the luxuries of a hotel, frills of mall road etc this is not for you. Come here for peace, relaxing and spending time with nature.

A very beautiful place ,a must visit for nature lovers and adventurous person . It's located in the middle of lush green forest accompanied by fresh water river. One can see vegetable and fruits plantation in the campus . The hospitality is commendable . The interior of the property is a combination of rural and urban taste . A place to chill ,relax and enjoy nature to the core. As the name suggests the place is in isolation and adjacent to river, one can step down via a small gate from the resort to the riverside.

Perfect spot for families and also those seeking solitude and peace, away from the hustle bustle of city life. There's enough adventure for kids and adults. Beautiful, picture perfect scenery The food served is absolutely delicious every time. The natural surroundings give that much needed communication with nature.

Excellent place with excellent food. Parathas are must try. One request is that Just dont charge extra/above MRP for softdrinks.

The place is mesmerizing. You would not want to go back from here. I have been to most luxurious places but this one is like you get all the luxury at a place which is in between the nature. No compromises in the quality of anything. Food is heavenly. They grow 90% of the vegetables at the same place. Service staff serves you like are from their own family. Kailash Ji & Saurabh were my favourites. Chef Umesh Ji would never say no to any of your food requirements. The owners have made this place from heart. They both are so down to earth. We were fortunate to meet them. Rooms are superb. We stayed in Poorna which was so comfortable. I am in love with this place & the people managing the property. Pari tal trek is a must do if the weather approves. My next destination would be Solitude by the Himalayas. Another property from the same owners.

Wonderful property and a beautiful, peaceful location, slightly remote. Staff were really good. Manager Bhanu was friendly and knowledgeable, and ensured we have a great stay. There are two small treks to beautiful waterfalls and water bodies.

Absolutely nothing to complain. Could have easily spend another 3 nights at this property. Name clearly tells you what kind of place is this. Food is absolutely homely and fresh. They accept special requests also. They do have 2 cuisine options daily but I did not try chinese or continental. Absolutely soulful place. Offers small treks around the property ( good choice for a family), very coordial staff , yoga shacks , book reading or badminton. Great place to refresh.

Absolutely incredible staff, from a smooth reservation process until the check in! Beautiful location! Amazing hospitality, great food , they have created a self sufficient sustainable ecosystem! Beautiful fruit trees, variety of flowers, veggies planted in their local farm! A complete Farm to table experience! They organise guided trek to pari tal which is a lovely lagoon near the resort! The rooms are beautiful, earthy, and quaint but with all necessary amenities! The decor is done with a beautiful rustic theme and every little piece elevates it's charm.The staff is very friendly, so polite, attentive to detail and made our anniversary celebration a truly memorable experience! Special thanks to Kailash, Sanjeev and Pardeep for going above and beyond in every aspect of communication & customer service! Can't say enough! Highly highly recommend for a truly magical experience PS network coverage in the area is limited but their wifi works like a charm! The parking to the resort is an easy 15 min trek across the river bed. The river has less flow in June and is not very majestic during this time of the year! There are no Acs but coolers in the rooms which are pretty powerful and do the job! There are benches and sitting places in beautiful nooks from where you can enjoy the river flowby and just enjoy the peace!
