Sorada Park - Park in Surada - Ganjam, India

This is a very beautiful dam. Located in Ganjam city of Odisha state. The weather here is very good. Very pleasant environment around. It is nice to walk here in the afternoon. And there is a park right next to the dam that is also very nice. I have shared some photos for your convenience.

Dam is a lovely place to watch sunset ! Highly recommended if you're a sunset lover and want to take a break & relax somewhere while in SORODA. Glad that the government is not charging any entry fee.

The Sorada Dam was curving the flowing water stream from the Daringbadi and Siman badi Hills from Kandhamal district. The Actual stream is from Rishikhola lately it named as the flown river Rushikulya. The place is beautiful and calm. There is a nearby temple, should visit there too.

Sorada Dam with its resplendent beauty and serene setting, Sorada Reservoir, locally known as Sorada Ghai, in Odisha is a renowned tourist place for people of all ages. Sorada Reservoir is located at a distance of around 80 km from Berhampur and is known for proffering a scenic charm which makes it a prominent picnic spot in the region. Along with that, the magnificent view of the sunset that one gets to see from Saroda Reservoir is one of the primes attractions of the place. Besides sunset, the place also boasts an appealing setting surrounded by verdant mountains which surely is an ideal ambiance if you are a photographer and want some amazing clicks.

A beautiful park was dedicated to Ex-chief minister of Odisha Late Shri Biju patnaik. Just closer to the Sorada dam. The Dam was curving the flowing water stream from the Daringbadi and Siman badi Hills from Kandhamal district in Southern part of Odisha. The Actual stream from Rishikhola lately it named as the flown river Rushikulya.

It's a nice place to visit. A dam is here. Nearby Maa Kunteeswari mandir on a a small hill. U can drive there.
