Sophie's Restaurant - Restaurant in Calangute - North Goa, India

This is such a beautiful place to have meals from The vibes are peaceful and relaxing. Not crowded. It is mostly not crowded so not so recognised but I'm telling you this is such a gem. A must visit if you are in Calangute. The food is tasty and more than that what captivated me is the presentation. It's so neat and aesthetic. Makes us wanna order more just for the looks and the quality and quantity is top notch. It was kinda sad that we discovered this place only on the last day of us in Goa. But you all shouldn't. That's why posting this review. Visit without a second thought. Prices are very much reasonable as compared to other dine-ins.

Great Restaurant to have food & drinks in Goa... Both veg & non veg items are good in terms of taste & quality. Staffs are so friendly & very flexible. Serving speed is also good when compared to other restaurants in that area. Interiors are really good and you feel the fresh aur always... Must visit.

Highly recommend eating at Sophie's near calungute, the serve both veg and non veg. Starters, main course was very good. Good ambience with minimalistic theme. Service was also fast, staff was courteous. We enjoyed our dining a couple of times here. Appreciate the staff and management for keeping the place clean and obviously for the quality of food. This will be in my must visit place to dine in coming trips.

Had very bad experience with this restaurant as we ordered onion rings and they fried the onion rings in Fish oil they didnt even use fresh oil and it really smelled like fish and also the taste was not good. Very slow service as we had to wait for 45 minutes for masala papad. Waiter's behaviour not good at all.

Went there to have our last dinner in goa and this restaurant really disappointed us big time. By looking at the menu itself we kind of realized that food won't be great. A typical 1 page laminated menu with over price. Quantities were very less with utmost bad taste. Our "chicken 65" was bitter with burn "kadi patta" and was way too salty. Hyderabadi biriyani was very salty and rice was not cooked completely. We asked for extra "raita" as the provided one was not more than few spoons but they asked for extra money. At the time of exit, we saw the main chef and another cook was fighting brutally and the owners were rushing and trying to stop the fight. Horrible ! Totally spoiled our night. I don't recommend this restaurant to anyone... Edit: look at the answer from owner. It reflects their "quality". Only because I did not agree to their taste quality, they got audacity to go so furious against a customer. And, I never knew taking pictures in a restaurant is a crime. And, regarding "menu", normally, restaurant with such ambience got better menu cover with lot of items to choose among. But, here the menu and taste is not any better than a road side dhaba but price is not less than any 3 star restaurant. Owners: it's not only me who is publishing "rubbish" post here but there are many other victim customers. It's time for you to retrospect your behavior and ability of your cook. Would be better for you. Good luck.

They provide rooms but not having any types of cleanens in room there are cockroach & many pesticides in room & if we go for complain & ask for water then they tell do not disturb for your issues owner him self .worst behaviour of owner father & daughter

I love this restaurant The food is awesome , their staff are fantastic and friendly, restaurant ambience is gorgeous, very neat and clean toilet , I'm very very satisfied with their food and service...........

It was by coincidence that we found this place by the side of the road. We were hell hungry, and honestly, this restaurant is the best place to satiate your hunger. Staff is courteous, food is amazing, they play awesome music I totally recommend this place!
