Sonu De Dhaba - Indian restaurant in Oodlabari, Ranichera Tea Garden - Jalpaiguri, India

Sonu De Dhaba is located near Railway crossing in Oodlabary West Bengal. It is a small restaurant beside the road. The place is properly maintained as they have a small garden area. They serve breakfast, snacks, lunch and dinner. The food is good especially fish. Tea is very nice. The place is neat and clean. The staff is also good. Cottages are also available here for stay. We have stayed here at night and kids liked the place. Prices are a little bit higher but it's okay.

We have visited this place while traveling to Jayanti from Kolkata by road. Right on the main road this place serves fresh delicious food. We tried chicken momos which was served with very flavourful chicken clear soup and spicy hot chatney. Also we had chicken tanduri/roast and it was amazing. Price was quite reasonable. People there were very friendly and cordial. There is ample of space for parking your vehicle.

Very basic place by the roadside with limited options of food. Tea was good. Not a Punjabi dhaba.

Location - just beside the railway crossing of Chel River, Oodlabari. Recently, authorities have made a small cottage to stay. Food quality is average. A short break can be taken to eat here while to stay stuck in the jam at the railway crossing.

Typical motel. I ate there late in the night - when most other eateries close by 9pm, this guy keeps the business open for longer. Typical Dooars menu. The only Jain meal they could help was paneer bhurji ! It was just okay. They said they have few rooms but the prices were too high compared to the Oyos and the likes in Oodlabari or Mal bazar.

This dhaba provides delicious food, in a reasonable price. You get fresh foods and you don't have to wait long for the food and the workers here are very polite and gentle with costumers.
