Went there in 2022 off-season, My room's bathroom had issues which was not fixed even after reminding them thrice and the room's walls were damped in some places. Other than this room was quite good double bed, 6 bed rooms were also quite nice. Coming to the hotel section the food prices are quite high as it is a hilly area and supply issues, but the quality of the puri sabji or roti was really good. Was disappointed with the 2nd day stay when they suddenly changed dishes prices as we ordered manually roti and sabji combination. Overall the outside space is good and hotel section is good for hanging out. Can choose this place to stay They cook good and tasty food.

The food quality is not that good. It will be too much to expect delicious and amazing tasty food like a 3star or 5star restaurant. But if we compare it with average restaurants, it is actually not upto the mark. The chilli chicken was salty, and not even tasted like chilli chicken at all. Same goes for the chowmin and chicken lolipop. We also had puri sabzi, it was really average and cost 40rs for 4 small Puri made of aata. The behaviour of the staff is good. If we talk about the rooms, it was clean, big size, very pleasant and loved the view.

If you are looking for a hotel or restaurant with hygienic food and reasonable price on your way back to bagmundi from pakhi pahar or pardi lake, this should be your destination. They have thali options and the price is well justified.

Sonkupi Cafe Hotel and Restaurant is one of the best hotel if you want to visit Ajodhya hill. Food quality is tasty and delicious but may be the price is little bit high. But I will not recommend this for a quick bite. You have to wait on the table upto 30 minutes or more to get your order.

I visited this place at the evening. So I have no such pics to share. But I can say you must visit for fooding. Beautiful place, some hills are just a kilometre ahed. Delicious foods. Must visit, highly recommended.
