Location is best full of nature.. river just beside resort... no network so no worries... please carry cash... in-terms of service its ok ok there will be not a lot of options and you have to tell them in advance.. but must visit

Best place to spend holiday. Just move away for few days to get away from daily schedule. It's very refreshing there. Mind and body gets fully recharged. One thing to remember no cell tower, so no mobile phone and I think that's one of the best parts among the scenic beauty of area. It helps to spend more time with family. It's lovely. A must go tourist spot

The Food Was Awesome , The Staff Was Cooperative in nature , Best weather , the rooms Was well cleaned , the only thing that made me to stop giving one more star was the network connectivity, their you can not access any network inside cottage .

Resort near state highway with pleasures of forest area. Courteous staff, nice ambience, level campus suitable for all ages. One can enjoy birdwatching and jungle walk (with permission and guidance of forest range staff) . Keep eatables safe from monkeys if outdoors. Moderate temp difference from nearby plains. No mobile network -. Except BSNL at few selected spots( nearly 0% strength).

If you wish for a private jungle night... This is the place... Mostly cool as the price is a bit high being a govt.run resort. Do not expect very good service... But they will be gentle and helping. But the star is the raw fragnance of nature...

Best place to stay Nearby Amarkantak and Achanakmar Wildlife Sanctuary BEST PROPERTY OF CG TOURISM.. I Stayed at Sonbhadra Tourist Resort, Amadob, Chhattisgarh for a day in First week of December 2018. The location is absolutely superb, just inside the Buffer Zone of the Achanakmar wildlife sanctuary. During the monsoon and in the starting of Winter Season you can see the endless greenery of the beautiful JUNGLE. The place is perfect for relaxation, a very peaceful place...just mesmerizing. It take almost 07 hours to reach here by road from Raipur via Achanakmar wildlife sanctuary; I suggest to avoid this route by Cars because very Pathetic/ Pitiful Road after entering the Jungle after LORMI either you take DHOLAGI ROAD or KOTA-LORMI ROAD .. You may enjoy the Jungle Ride on SUV's via this Route. So, I suggest you the Path; Raipur-Bilaspur-Ratanpur- Amarkantak Hill Range- Keonchi- Sonbhadra Tourist Resort, you may take help of Google maps for this Route. While going back to Raipur through this Route is very beautiful. Now about the Beautiful Property. The entire campus could have been kept cleaner and well maintained, but looks like there is a shortage of staffs. It is the best place to spend two days, but there is no mobile coverage. Bird and Jungle lovers will enjoy to stay there.. Only online booking is done with CG TOURISM SITE at very reasonable Price Rates. Here is my experience. Pros: * The property is in amongst lush green surrounding, completely isolated from hustle-bustle of any kind. * This property offers 12 Deluxe Cottages/Rooms. * Check-in and other procedures were smooth. * Service Boys were too much humble and straight. * The rooms were provided in no time. * The resort is relatively new, so the rooms are fresh, and amenities are up to date. The room size is very, compared to any other near tourism property, and comfortable stay for 3 adults. * Rooms: Cosy, comfortable with nice furniture. * Hot Water Geysers are Available in every Room. * The room has LED TV and split air conditioner. * During evening hours you may planned camp fire in there lawn area or you may request the Service Boys to Create a Bonfires near your Rooms. * Long Drive via Above Mentioned Suggest Route is Enjoyable. * Kids will love staying there... since lot of place to play and walk around. * Nights are scary because out there was very peace and silence, it does not feel like going out for a walk, have heard of wild animals but is safe in the resort, because all the fences are covered with * One might as well enjoy a short car drive, only with Car Headlights in the Dense Forest, up to Keonchi which is only 06 Kms away from this Property to enjoy your dinner. * Road Condition is Good, But Please Drive Safe as This Road have two to three Hair Pin Turns at Ghats. Cons: * The Biggest Cons is NO MOBILE COVERAGE in Resort, but at some Points only You may Got Tower of IDEA (resort Manager has Marked those Points with Cup Holders) otherwise Not even a Single Mobile Tower of any Operator. * Food Menu Contains a numerous Dishes but Taste is missing. * You may enjoy the food at KEONCHI BABA DHABHA at very Moderate Price. The total feel of the property was good and we had great time staying here with friends and Also you may Plan and Feel the Romantic Version with your dear One.. The resort is really very beautiful. It is present admist the dense jungle of achanakmar wildlife sanctuary. The place is really virgin and is less visited by people which makes it much more beautiful. There are four cottages with beautiful names. The place is a wonder for all nature lovers. The rooms are neat and clean. Fooding is also good. Another good thing is the entire lodge runs on solar power. And big solar panels can be spotted in the compound. But the best thing which I liked was the camp fire at night which gave a very thrilling experience

Rooms are nice, but the sheets and pillows not clean. Outdoors also not maintained well. I got ring worm infection..beware if you're staying here.
