Beautifully located and meticulously decorated resort. The atmossphere, service, and especially the curated rooms make this a definite five star. A mere look at its location on google map gives you an idea of how unique and picturesque the place is! The staff is welcoming, the food was very tasty and the rooms are clean, cozy and comfortable. Would recommend!

Great location for all the Nature Lovers to visit...The property is surrounded by serene beauty of the Lake...Wonderful place to spend your vacation in a scenic and incredible surrounding... Very friendly management who went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable... Authentic Malvani Delicacies served were definitely a cherry on the cake.. Rooms are extremely clean and spacious. Bhogve Beach is a must visit place which is close to the resort. Overall a perfect place to relax your mind and to enjoy the beauty of Nature.

Our stay at Sona Villa was nothing short of magical; situated on a hillock with incredible views of the lake below & surrounding forest, this villa can be called a nature lover's paradise. We had a comfortable & memorable stay. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warm hospitality and a serene atmosphere that makes one feel right at home. We would wake up to the sound of the birds singing and watch the scenic ambience from the outdoor sitting areas. This surrounding garden and outdoor sitting areas are a perfect place to relax & soak in the natural beauty of this region; We enjoyed our breakfast & meals in these sitting areas (with the lake around). Besides birds like Bulbul, Golden Oriole, Sunbirds, Water hens we were lucky enough to see Otters swimming in the lake. We enjoyed the delicious meals prepared in authentic malvani cuisine ( that a mumbaikar would crave for) The staff (Nagesh, Tendulkar & team) were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure that we had everything we needed for a comfortable & enjoyable stay. We visited the Petroglyphs the day we arrived & did the Rangana Trek the day after. It was a bit hectic but fun to walk through thick forest. Next time we have a plan to visit Bhogwe & Tarkarli beaches which are not very far from this place.

This is an amazing place to be at during a weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and must say the hospitality and the host is truely outstanding. The best part is Mr. Balu Tendulkar, he is friendly and professional and extremely helpful. The food is superb at taste and the home cooked efforts by the caretaker are delicious. The rooms are extremely clean and the washrooms are really good compared to others. We loved our two nights stay here and lasted 24 hours we spent only in admiring the beautiful view of the lake and the gently breezy morning with a awesome view of sunrise. We plan for a lengthy stay here later this year post monsoon to enjoy the breathtaking view of the lake and the silence of the night. Thank You once again to Mr. Balu Tendulkar and his entire team for the outstanding service.

Sona Villa can be described as HEAVEN ON EARTH. The lake view just outside the room is so serene and peaceful. We enjoyed the delicious ,homely taste of the local Malvani cuisine, veg as well as nonveg, overlooking the lake view. The rooms are decent , with the furniture boasting a Victorian look. If you want to enjoy the rustic stay in nature with scenic lake view, this is the place you must visit, to experience it. The staff is very courteous and friendly. We had a wonderful experience....the place is really serene and peaceful. The food was very tasty too. The caretaker was attentive and helpful. We had a great and peaceful time at Sona Villa. Looking forward to visiting again.
