Somnath Dwar is the war memorial dedicated to Major Somanth Sharma. He was the atmy officer and the first receipent of PVC. Somnath Dwar also has Parade Ground for the training of Indian Army recruits in the Kumaon Regiment. No entry free. Salute to the solider and enter the war memorial. Keep phone on silent. War memorial has beautiful verses embedded and the names of the matryed soliders engraved of Kumanon regiment who fought im Indo-Pak wars.
