Soma Kerala Palace - Hotel in Kochi, Murinjupuzha - Ernakulam, India

Hotel Kerala Palace, The breakfast was amazing, and the staff were very helpful. The rooms have ample space. I had an amazing experience with my family at this place! Clean rooms and washrooms! The breakfast buffet had a variety of choices, from South Indian dishes to continental food. Overall, I had an amazing experience and will definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a clean and neat hotel at a decent rate.

Nice hotel, is on a island so you don't have much food options of going outside! Service is exceptional and the resort is beautiful! Nice photographics places and a good view of sunsets too! There are other facilities like Yoga Hall, Swimming Pool and ayurvedic massages and all too which is a good try! The rooms are created like little homes and follow a wooden theme and all the rooms are made like seperate shacks! You have to order the food early as they don't keep anything ready and make it from scratch and hence the quality and taste of food is awesome! A must visit if you are around the area! Very good resort with great views. The island is very good and neatly maintained. Even tough it is a island the hotel staff took great care to reach the island trough a boat. The view of fish nets and backwaters from the resort are awesome. Resort is full of coconut trees and nets tied to them for relaxing. Relaxing in the nets is awesome there. Coming to the rooms, they are not much hifi but reasonably good and the food is a bit costly there. Overall it is a very good place to hangout for the weekend with family.

It is a nice heritage hotel! Is on an island of its own in the backwaters with amazing views. Friendly and helpful staff. Very quiet and serene. They have a yoga center, a meditation area and a Ayurveda center with a variety of treatments. Is frequented by Germans tourists( they have a sizable collection of German literature! ) Its a great place if you are in a big group and want to relax. Not recommend for tourists because of remote location and the only way to get to the mainland is through a 10 minute boat ride. Book if you are planning to stay for more than a couple of days to soak up sun and rejuvenate. Do not make it a stop-over on a sightseeing tour. Food is wonderful but pricey! ( And there is no second option on the island)

A very nicely done hotel in vintage royal like feel. The staff is very courteous and helpful. The food is amazing. The swimming pool is bonus. It's reached using a boat from the resort off island property. Rooms are very nicely done. One can relax and get rejunvated.

This was one of the best place I had went on holiday's. Undoubtedly, it's one the most peaceful place in INDIA. Just laying in pool and Sun set is happening in front you is seriously can't be express in words. Property is well maintain. You have to take a boat ride of 10-15 mins from your dropping spot. Boat is provided by Hotel. Rooms are neat & clean. Staff is supportive & well behaved. You can stay here & forget about rest of the world.

Serene and tranquil place. It is like a small island in itself, surrounded by water on all sides. To reach here you need to use a boat, Which is an quite an experience in itself :) The hotel has a private boat for it's guests. You got to drive to one of the gates of the property and call up the hotel. The boat arrives within 10-12 minutes to pick you. Food is good, however, when we were there no alcohol was served, but it did not bother us much. The property grounds are nicely maintained. It also has a nice swimming pool. However, the rooms are bit small than usual. All in all, a nice place for a weekend trip.

They have reconstructed the old traditional heritage buildings brought in from other parts of kerala and put it up brick by brick in a private island. They will pick u up from their private jet and row u across the backwaters to reach this resort. It's a wonderful place. The food is great! Staff very courteous and ambience just soothing!
