I had a wonderful experience at Soma Restaurant and Bar. What impressed me the most was their thoughtfully designed setup that caters to both local patrons and tourists. If you're visiting with your family, they provide a separate, comfortable room to ensure a family-friendly atmosphere. The staff's service was exceptional, and the pricing for both drinks and food was quite reasonable. I highly recommend Soma as a must-visit place.

I visited in an afternoon. It was family friendly. The cost is not economical and not high too. The French fries was amazing and so was the pasta. The drinks are good. Waiters were friendly. It's a nice place to be relaxed and have food

I went there with my 2.5 year old along with the family. the food was good but less salty. the drinks were also reasonably priced. the quantity of the food was also good. though the entrance and pathway looks like a local bar, inside it is good and family friendly. a separate room is there for privacy. the restrooms were clean and that was a good thing about this place.

Soma bar and restaurant is a casual and homely bar in Pondicherry. The staff are extremely sweet and welcoming. The drinks are fairly priced and the food is delicious too. They serve fryums and sundal with the drinks which is an added bonus. Do try out the specials like the fresh fish which is extremely satisfying. The place has great deals on multiple drinks and do make use of their 1+1 offers. Unfortunately, parking can be quite difficult around the area and valet parking isn't available. In all, Soma bar and restaurant is a place I'd definitely revisit!

Good service, polite staff. Tried butter chicken and chapati here. Tasted good. Even alcohol prices are affordable. Worth a try.

Fantastic place. Very decent and polite staff. Food is excellent. Nice ambience and we can really enjoy with friends and family.

The food is good and they have beef for the ones that enjoy it. Dont count only with the main course though. It is too little of a portion. You need to order fried rice or some starters to properly get you full.

Gone here for a quick grab of a pint and french fries & I must admit it's a very relaxed place. The window(balcony) view is pretty satisfying. The portion of the fries is pretty good for the reasonable price. Would recommend for people who wanted to spend some time in a resto bar without burning their wallet. And lastly but not the least, the staff(guy) was friendly & you get complementary chips as starters.
