It is good the matter is reported to Google. Let them check the timeline and conclude that I was in front of villa for more than half an hour, waiting for somebody responsible to respond. The call records too will be submitted to Google, if demanded. Notwithstanding the above, a responsible business house taking a position that all reviews with less than 4 is fake is reprehensible! ______&&&&______&&&&_&_______&& Present version is an afterthought to save face. The space was agreed for a birthday party over phone @ Rs 25000/- on 2nd December. They assured an entire villa for 10 members and agreed to provide extra beds, if required. It is true that they told in advance that loud music is not permitted. We just want to ensure the space offered is worth the amount and we drove in. The caretaker could have come down and spared five minutes. Else, he could have used professional language to convey his inability. Their attitude speaks volumes. We have taken up the matter with Google and hope they will address this issue.

A lovely villa located in the midst of nature. Walking distance from the beach.Clean and well maintained.Ashit and his wife are wonderful hosts.A vote of special appreciation for the caretaker Vasanth and the cook for making our stay memorable.

I called Sombeach Villa yesterday morning and fixed a villa for 12 hours (10 family members only) for Rs.25000/- for birthday party (food and beverages to be charged extra) of my niece. As I wanted to visit the place and ensure that space at a remote village 15 Kms away from city is worth for what I am paying for, I decided to see the infrastructure before making payment and confirming the booking. We family of five travelled 50 Kms to reach their gate and caretaker did not bother to come down nor allowed us to enter the gate. We waited for half an hour with multiple calls and returned. Evening, my dad posted a Google review with all truth and M/s Sombeach Villa shockingly replied it as fake review and stated the issue is taken up with Google. Google contacted us too and we have replied to them to ensure truth shall prevail and public shall not be misguided by manipulative interference. While going through all the reviews, I realised that all reviews with rating less than 4 is branded as either fake or with the reply that 'you haven't stayed in our villa'. If such manipulative interference is allowed, reliability of Google reviews will nose dive drastically. It is good that you have taken up the issue with Google. We have provided them the documentary proof. Even if the villas were occupied, what prevented the caretaker to come down and talk with us? This is hospitality business and customer shall be respected and informed. Business shall be premised on trust and deceit/falsehood shall have consequences.

This beautiful 3 story house which is just a stone's throw away from the beach is pristine and serene. You can visit this place with people of any age group as it is ideal for family, kids and old folks. The pool is the main attraction and kids just couldn't get enough of it! The hosts and the housekeeping staff are super friendly. I highly recommend this place for any kind of fun gathering with family and friends.

Our two-day stay at SOM Beach Villa was an absolute delight. If you're looking for a perfect getaway in Mangalore, I wholeheartedly recommend this charming beachfront villa for an experience like no other. It is strongly advisable to have food at the villa itself; it's reasonable and tastier compared to hotel food. Thanks to Rakshith, Vasanth, and the cook for taking care of us during our stay.

The place was great for a simple vacay. The best place in the building was the terrace with a great view of the Beach. We tried to order food in house and they cook good non veg food but the veg food they served it from outside which was bad. The manager didnt meet us even once but the caretaker did a great job. The complimentary breakfast was a put down in the whole experience. They told us to choose any two items from the menu and almost all items don't taste good, also packaging was bad. The house was very cleanly maintained and rooms were very spacious. We lobed the experience but could impove on certain factors. The beach is at a walkable distance and comfortable to go there for evening walks.

It is spacious and comfortable stay for a group to stay together and havr fun. There is beach and temple nearby, best to visit during sunset. Can order food from outside. Rakshith and Vasanth are always there help when needed. Overall great place and service

Amazing beach villa. It has 2 floors with each floor consists of 3 bed rooms and private pool for kids and adults. One of the best kids pool I have seen. Rooftop restaurant is well designed but morning breakfast was average. We had Neer dosa & chutney and it was not impressive. Beach is 5 mins walk from villa but the beach is rough and you can't get down to beach. Best suited for family with 6 to 10 members.
