Soham's Chateau De Naggar - Home Stay in Naggar - Kullu, India

It's a lovely homestay/hotel having lovely view of the valley. Rooms were spacious and moderately clean. The staff was quite polite and tried their best to host us and help us whenever possible. The breakfast menu was limited but quality was good. We had WiFi in our room which wasn't fast enough to attend video conferencing but manageable enough to work on laptop.

We have booked the luxury deluxe rooms and those were just amazing. The rooms though a bit expensive have attached bathroom, electricity and are worth the price. The place is surrounded by snow mountains and has amazing views but it can get very cold here especially if it rains. The food and service here is also very good. The staffs are very polite. The beauty and serenity of this place nothing can replace. Highly recommended The only cons : the big spiders snatch our sleep and it's the maintenance issue.

We stayed here for a night on way to Manali. The place is on the main road which goes to the Naggar Castle. The room was alright, not very clean - torn curtains, poor quilt covers. The bathroom is poorly designed with the bathing area right as you enter it - so its always going to be wet. The road is busy till about 7 pm so traffic noise seeps into the room. Late at night there were scraping noises from the terrace above so could not get a good sleep. The food was terrible. We arrived at about 1.30 in the afternoon and ordered a simple meal of Yellow Daal and rotis - the daal was undercooked and hard and the rotis were cold and brittle by the time they got to the table. Quite expensive at Rs. 200 for the daal and Rs. 20 per roti - specially for this kind of food! The next morning there was no one to give us tea till 8 am so we had to walk out to a dhaba to have our morning cuppa. It is certainly not a chateau just a road side hotel. I would not stay here again, nor recommend it to anyone.

Soham.uncles place is pocket friendly neat and clean guest house for night stays . Their open roof top restaurant has an awesome mountain view and a nice place to sit and relax with coffee .

Have stayed at this place thrice over a period of 5 years, Never disappointed and would still prefer to stay here. Rooms are clean, food is great, owner and his family are welcoming and helpful. Terrace/dining room is common area is usually a good place to bask in sun during day and same place works as a social gathering spot in evenings. It's a budget friendly place to stay. There are a few good options to see around, dine or drink. Few good cafes, restaurants at walking distance. Also there's a forest trail at walking distance if you wish to walk/hike.

One of the best hotel in nagar. Room is very nice and clean also the service is very good. If you want to stay in nagar than this is the best place with good price.

Excellent hotel with a great location and an excellent host. I have visited here many times and every time I come to Himachal, I make this hotel my base. Staff are very trustworthy, i leave my room unlocked most times. The views from the room balconies are amazing and the terrace is a great place to chill out. The common area has a nice fireplace which makes it very cosy to hang out on cold evenings.
