I had high expectations for parsi food but disappointed with the taste. I tasted parsi food in Mumbai "Irani Cafe" and Soda Bottle Opnerwala is not close to them. Sorry for negative feedback but you need to improve the food taste. Had Keema pav, Mutton Dhansak and Rice, lime soda. Retro ambience is nice

Soda Bottle Opener Wala, a quirky and nostalgic restaurant immediately caught my attention with its charming Parsi-inspired decor, music and vibrant atmosphere. Eager to explore their menu, I embarked on a culinary adventure to sample some of their popular dishes & I must say, the experience was a true feast for both the senses and the soul. To start off, I couldn't resist indulging in the classic Mumbai street food staple, the vada pav. Soda Bottle Opener Wala's rendition of this beloved dish was nothing short of exceptional. The vada, with its golden and crispy exterior, revealed a flavorful and spicy potato filling inside. The pav was soft, perfectly toasted, and provided a comforting base for the vada. The accompanying chutney added a tangy and zesty kick, tying all the flavors together. It was a delightful reminder of the city's culinary heritage and I savored every bite. Next on the menu was the chicken cheese chilli pav, a fusion creation that combined Indian and Chinese flavors. The dish arrived with tender chunks of chicken sauteed alongside generously smothered in melted cheese. The aroma alone was tantalizing, and the taste exceeded my expectations. The chicken was succulent and well-seasoned, while the cheese added a luscious creaminess. The hint of spiciness from the chilies gave the dish a fiery kick that was balanced perfectly. The pav acted as a delightful vessel, soaking up all the flavors and adding a comforting element to the dish. It was a harmonious fusion that left me thoroughly satisfied. As a seafood enthusiast, I was eager to try the Fish Koliwada, and it did not disappoint. The dish arrived with perfectly fried pieces of fish, coated in a flavorful batter. The fish was impeccably cooked, retaining its moistness and flakiness beneath the crispy exterior. The Koliwada spices were aromatic and enhanced the natural flavors of the fish, resulting in a delightful combination of textures and tastes. It was a dish that paid homage to the traditional Parsi culinary traditions and showcased the restaurant's commitment to quality ingredients. Lastly, I sampled the chicken farcha, another Parsi specialty. The chicken was expertly marinated in a fragrant blend of herbs and spices, then deep-fried to golden perfection. Each bite revealed tender and juicy chicken, enveloped in a crispy and flavorful coating. The flavors were robust and well-balanced, creating a tantalizing experience for the palate. The chicken farcha & fish koliwada was a testament to Soda Bottle Opener Wala's commitment to delivering authentic and delicious Parsi cuisine. Overall, my dining experience at Soda Bottle Opener Wala was exceptional. The restaurant not only captured the essence of Mumbai's culinary heritage but also brought it to life with their inventive and flavorful dishes. My one of the favorite places to visit whenever in the area. This place, specially this location never fails to disappoint. The first thing you notice when you enter this restaurant is the lovely music. Be it old songs or the new ones, it always catches your attention and I love that about this place. The servers and the service is also impeccable. They are attentive and quick from the moment you enter the place. I went during the lunch time on a weekday so the seating wasn't too hard to get. Got seated right away and then came the surprise and no it was not the but the...... Our SERVER (forgot his name) was a deaf & mute guy. He was super talented and even though he could not hear or talk to us, he communicated with ease. I was literally taken by surprise. He made sure to explain to us by pointing what we are ordering and what best options would be to get and he was spot on. Kudos to Soda Bottler Opener Wala to give a chance and hire a differently abled person and giving him an opportunity and not leaving him out like you normally see. My respect for this place just doubled or rather increased many folds Now the food, as always everything was great and full of flavors except the Khari pizza. Vada-Pav was tasty Chicken cutlets were crispy and mouthwatering Fish cutlets were flavorful and melt in your mouth Masala banta was fun to pop Khari Pizza was super disappointing. First it took almost 20 mins to come (and we finished the rest of our food and kept waiting for the pizza). The toppings were kind of giving a burned flavor. The base of the pizza was very difficult to eat and kept falling apart since it was khari. I wouldn't recommend the pizza but rest everything was good. A food lovers paradise. No dearth of flavors and variety of food options. Highly recommend

Nice place with good ambience. Food was good. We tried palak patta chaat, veg goulati kebabs, vada pav and prawn. Loved the food. Service also was very prompt and good.

A place one must try for good food. Me and my friend visited Soda Bottle Openerwala after office with only food in mind. Well we did reach the right place. More to food and drinks, the interiors are quite aesthetically done justifying the Parsi setup with cozy vibe. The old songs playing in the background is exactly what we wanted after a hectic day at work. Because not everyday is meant for Fancy. We ordered Keema pao and chicken farcha, both being delicious and had appropriate flavour to it. For drinks we took Sekan-ji Ben ( this being one of the most experimental form of lemonade I have ever had) and other being Kala Khatta Banta soda. Both being equally wow. All and all it was a great experience.

Good quality of food available with good ambiance. Price is also fine as this restaurant is inside mall. Pav bhaji and their rice options are great in taste.

I have visited this place twice now and this one was my second time. Although i had quite high hopes from their mutton as i had before it didn't come out so great . They have changed the menu , i was unable to find the dish i tried last time and i sensed a compromise in taste this time . They're reconstructing and they have limited the sitting area and very few waiters are around the place it takes a lot of time to attend everyone. We had to wait to order and then i had to send my food back due to quite a lot of salt and a slight bitterness, and that took a long time .
