Parsi food... Not something that I thought existed and that too so good ! It's not a very big place, does have a wide menu but the real speciality is the few Parsi items on the menu. The dhansuk is served in a traditional tiffin, looks quite old school. The kheema pav is another interesting one to try. Service is quick and staff is polite and helpful. The location is prime, but parking might be tricky. Overall it's a place worth a try.
Can I give this place more than 5 stars? No seriously; I really wish I could give it 10 stars. In fact, I'm very disappointed with myself that I have not visited this place before..after having lived in Bangalore for ages! Their Irani chicken sheekh kabab is a thing of dreams. Presented on a bed of delicious hummus and the softest bread, this is hands down, the best chicken sheekh kabab I've eaten in life! The prawn curry with rice was also very tasty. We tried a lot of other dishes - non-veg starters and mains..they were all PERFECT. They also helped us relive the surreal feeling of eating a buttered and toasted bun which just melts in your mouth. The ambience was another delightful part of our visit. Quirky wall decor and fittings transport you to a different era. I'm just waiting to go back and treat myself to other items on their menu. This is one of my top 5 restaurants to visit in Bangalore
A lovely restaurant serving Bombay Parsi and related dishes. The place is crowded, but the ambience is great with lots of colour and personality, and light music playing in the background that doesn't affect conversation. We had Raspberry Soda (okay), Parsi Choi (great), and Freddy on Fire (okay) in beverages, and Chicken Baida Roti (excellent), Bohri Keema Pav (excellent), and Kundapura Prawns (not that great). The service is quick and the staff is helpful and friendly.
It is a must visit in Bangalore. Exceptional food and fast service. I had Mutton Koobideh kebab, chicken berry pulao and Matunga coffee cake. All three dishes were exquisite. And the coffee cake was out of this world. The place has a very retro vibe, which i loved. Its almost always full. Loved dining here. Awesome experience. Will definitely visit soon again.
Lovely food Amazing ambience Most loved part - Fantastic bollywood music, lifts any kind of moods Helpful staff Great place to hang out with friends or with family
Had a dining experience at Soda Bottle OpenerWala, a Parsi-style restaurant in Bangalore. The ambiance was top-notch with a charming old-style setup that set the mood just right. We opted for the Mutton Dhansak and Patarani Fish, but unfortunately, they fell a bit short of expectations. Having tried Mutton Dhansak at other Parsi restaurants, this one didn't quite hit the mark. While the food and drinks leaned on the pricier side, it's worth noting that you're partly paying for the prime location. However, the disappointment came with the Irani Chai I ordered. It didn't resemble the regular Irani Chai that I'm accustomed to; it tasted more like ordinary tea, which left me unimpressed. On a positive note, the staff was courteous and accommodating. Just keep in mind that parking might prove to be a challenge. All in all, an average experience with room for improvement.
Good place to have some persi food. Nice and beautiful arrangement in the downtown area. Retor music and good food.
I am a big fan of Parsi food ... dhansak , berry pulao and akuri have always been my favourites along with the Parsi dairy kulfi ( this time around the kulfi was not as good ....was hard and not the Parsi Dairy farm classical taste was missing ...) Soda Bottle Opener Wala reminds me of the Irani Cafes of the old in Bombay . The atmosphere is quaint , vibrant and gives a nice cozy comfortable feeling . Music is the hummable old Bollywood music Cocktails are amazing Overall a great place to visit for Parsi food and go back into time into a nostalgia trip #parsifood #localfood #bangalore #indianfood

I have never rated a restaurant with 5 stars but this one definitely deserves it. Everything is perfect over here be it ambience, service, food or drinks. And it's so reasonable. Its theme is of a cave and it's beautiful. Food over here is a 10/10, i
