SNEHADEEPAM LADIES HOSTEL - CIVIL STATION - ERANHIPALAM - CALICUT - Working Women's Hostel in Kozhikode - Kozhikode, India

I stayed here for around 3 weeks. This was my first hostel experience and I really enjoyed being there. It was like a family and I felt home. This hostel is very safely located in a residential area and there is always quick transportation facilities available as it's near to Civil station. Even though the warden is strict with her rules as that's how it should be, she is a very loving and caring person.They offer quality food (especially loved her tomato chutney with dosa ), filtered water, neat toilets, etc,.Again, we have a spacious balcony too where I used to manage my studies.

The room was conjusted. With very little lighting . Only after requesting for a cleaner bed , we received one . The European closet was even without a seat lid. We find the positive reviews were misleading for the daily rent charged as 400 per person with or without food. It was part of a business trip, I was with my colleague and we rushed out the very next day we landed. Not at all recommended. This is the reply : yes u informed that it was a 6 sharing room , and about the rate . But u didn't said anything about the light and lid. I could see that the facilities were limited . What I mentioned is the facilities were not worth for the rate . When I asked about the bathroom, the reply was it is rented facility and u can't modify it . When a facility is given for rent , u have to maintain it , since you are receiving the benefit. Other than that there was a cordial relationship with the inmates . Yes they have strict rules regarding the inmates can't comb their hair inside the room . But that may be because of various other reasons. We were not able to sustain with the limited resources like dusty bed and cub board , unclean rest room . So we changed it within a single day.

I have been staying in this hostel two months, and this is my first time staying in a hostel. So i and my family had tension thinking about how it was there. But when i met soumya chechi, omana amma i knew nothing to worry. I am a chronic asthma patient i got more care from their. It is situated in the heart of the civil station so easily to reached this place night and all time. Homely food, rooms and bathroom are clean and comfortable, chechi is very strict about hostel rules, on the same time she is very lovable person.she treated all hosteliers as her own childrens. the room rent are reasonable. I got good friends from there, i am so happy on those days. So i strongly reccomend snehadeepam

Perfect example of how a good hostel should be.. I never expect such kind of love and care from a warden. She just loved us and we were a family.. It's my second home. I just returned because I want to come back fast. Everything is good such as food, rooms atmosphere etc.. Thank you so much for your love and care...

I stayed here for 2 months only, but I can surely say that it was the best hostel in my hostel life experience. Quality food, cleaned, good facilities, good ambiance, moreover the warden she is an amazing lady who caring the hostelers as her children. I really loved snehadeepam ..

My friend and me stayed there for 1 month, we had a worse experience there.We had no other option left, bcz we had paid 1 month rent and adwance amount . Theire services, rules and regulations are horrifying. Not a perfect place for students, plz don't choose that place if you are a student .The warden was really greedy and she wrested 400rs each allegedly that we had illegally used iron box and laptop, actually we had no laptop with us.If there is zero rating i'll rate that

I think best hostel at Calicut. With really good ambience , normally when u compare from others. They provide good freedom and safety for girls. As my friend used to stay here she gave a positive response. Even they have really good food and flexible for working women.

How much fake a person can be?This lady is really greedy. The monthly rent is Rs. 4500 which comes Rs150 per day. But she tried to utilise this situation and make benefit from this pandemic. She asked for Rs. 250 per day which comes around 7500 per month. Even if it is a government employee or a private employee who would tolerate exploitation? Food was really horrible. We had to go to the hospital because of food poisoning and I can provide you the evidence also.you can see the intolerance she has towards criticisms from her replies. Some gents have also rated and given reviews. This is a ladies hostel. How come they were here? Do they accommodate gents? I don't know. So you can see this is all fake. So if you are searching for a nice place to stay, choose wisely. Thats all I want to say
