Smriya Homestay - Home Stay in Darjeeling - Darjeeling, India

For a solo traveller like me who loves to stay outside Darjeeling Mall, Smriya Homestay would be the best option. It will take around 15 to 20 minutes walking reaching to Mall Aria from their Homestay. 5 minutes distance from the Darjeeling bus stand. Room condition, Food, and Hospitality all are 10/ 10. I am really satisfied with their services. I will meet them again.

Smriya homestay has one disadvantage that it's a bit higher from the Darjeeling main road but then that becomes it's advantage as well. Rooms are quiet, WiFi available, geyser, clean rooms and a view of the entire hills from the window. The owners are great people, I stayed for 3 days and it was one of the best experiences ever. The height one needs to climb to get here provides them the quietness to enjoy the view of the place.

We booked the room for 4 days. The experience was very good. The hosts and family were very kind to us and made us feel comfortable. The food was also very good. We had Non-veg meals and it taste like a homemade food. The bedroom was quite spacious with a table, chair and a 1 seater sofa. Bathroom was Clean and tidy, We didnt face any issue in heater etc. They provide hairdryer and iron box but its chargeble as per the hours. They don't have a dedicated parking lot but they arranged a bike parking space when we requested for one. Overall it was a great experience looking forward for another stay here.

Ok, so this sweet little homestay might be a little far from Chowrasta/Mall road( 1.8kms is far for a small hill town, though it depends on your perspective), but it more than makes up for that with the views, the cleanliness of the room and washroom, the hospitality of the hosts and also the proximity and suitable conveyance to quite a few spots like The Zoo, Ropeway(just a 15rs share cab ride of 5 mins), Happy Valley Tea estate etc. Shout out to the hosts for the amazing meals made with love and a special thanks to them for helping out massively when in a dire situation related to Money. We are a married couple and stayed for 4 nights and enjoyed the hospitality with the host family, including Molu and Teddy(pet cat and dog) Would recommend this homestay to one and all especially if you are into hotels, it's high time you ditch them and experience local love

Very hospitable family, with excellent home cooked food. Rooms are nice, cute and private, separated from the house.

It is an excellent homestay in Darjeeling. It's a little bit far from the city centre. But the room is very nice and clean with attached bathroom. Food is also great. The location and the view from the homestay is also amazing.

Totally loved it. Smriya Homestay is in an accessible location and close to city centre. Room was clean, hygienic and apt for price. The host family was so caring, lovable and helped in arranging cabs for early morning transfer to tiger hill and guided me for local sight seeings. The homely food served was yummy and probably the one of the best foods I had in all my travel experience in North India. I Highly recommend it.

Good homestay.. it's difficult to locate at first.. hosts were very warm.. food prepared by them was very good.. bathroom has a bit of drainage problem.. small room for a single person to stay.. safe..
