The place looks pretty but the food is really bad. Seems like lot of Activities for kids si available. I ordered tea and could not sip more than once. Pretty big investment but casual attitude will sink the ship. The interiors is cultivated in rural life theme.
The thali at Smriti Rekha Dhaba is a must-try, and it's highly recommended for anyone who wants to savor the rich and diverse flavors of Assam. Their chicken and duck curries are simply outstanding. I also love their small fish fry with onions and capsicum. Recommending that! They also have play area so if you're coming with family including small children, you need not worry. A nice restaurant/dhaba by the side of the NH 27 at Howly. There is a garden with kids playground and some outdoor sitting also. The ambiance is ok. The food taste very good. The traditional Assamese thali is fantastic with its accompaniments like til bota, dal bota, kordoi chatni, ou tenga, thekera tenga dal, vedailata etc. Though khar and a sweet is missing. Enjoyed the food. Service is fine. But many items are not available from the menu. Overall a good place for lunch and dinner with family.
Spacious place, ample parking space is available. Here you need to dine according to the wish of the restaurant,as most of the items of the menu were not available during my visit. Side items of the Thai were served in very limited quantity. Card payment option is not available need to wait for change.
Overall Interior Design is fine, Beautiful. There is also a Children Park, which is very good, Environment is also fine but Service is not so Good, not Standard. When we ordered the Coffee, we got coffee in One-Time Cup.. which is very thin. It is even better than giving in the Regular Cup. Parking place is available there... Online Payment also accept there...

It is not just a Dhaba, it a perfect family resort. It deserves 5 star. Spacious dining hall well equipped and well arranged. Wall paintings portray the mythology and the nature. The more attractive is the delicious variety of food items at usual rate. The awesome thing is the outside arrangements. It is truly a children's park with artificial falls, hills and pond. It opens at 10.00 a.m. and serves till 11.00 p.m. Hats off to the endeavor.
Food quality and service is very much appreciated. Nicely decorated. Enough space for car parking. Children park is also there.
