Smart Car Spa - Car wash in Muvattupuzha - Ernakulam, India

I used their service about three weeks ago. We had agreed for a thorough car wash and clean in and out. I left the car there before noon, and they would complete the work by the same evening. As agreed, the work was completed in the evening by about 7.30 pm, and I went to pick it up. The car looked beautiful outside. Inside, the seat covers and upholstery items were not fully dry, which they had told me before, that it might not dry fully because of the cloudy day. The interior cleaning as a whole was done well for the look. When I touched the wet parts of the seat covers it was very slippery. They said they usually dry the car interior with the car heater, and my car did not have a car heater. I realised they had not taken the seat covers outside to wash, just used some kind of chemical spray on the covers. The spray would still remain on the covers, even after they dry. I realised those chemicals are not good for health, and more over the dirt was still on the covers and inside of them, even though they had a very good scent. I took the car home, removed all the covers myself and washed in the washing machine. The water was really dark in the washing machine with the covers in it, when I added liquid soap to the water. I got the covers dried and then put back on the car seats. When touched on them the feeling was really different from when I just brought it back from the car spa. I also found that the steering cover in the middle was not fixing well after the wash. I think the powerful water spray they used spoiled one of the three legs that holds the steering cover to the steering. I have not yet got the spare parts to repair it. Also the gas tank cover opener, the small liver which is beside the driver's seat was broken (not loosen, but broken) and I had a very difficult time to get it open on my way from the airport to take diesel. That also I had to get repaired. I realised their work was not worth the money they charge, and definitely not a healthy work for those who travel by that car. I think they are extremely careless in doing the work. They use powerful water pressures to clean the car which actually damages the car when used carelessly. Everything they removed from the car before started washing, including the tools and paper documents and things in the shelf in front of the passenger seat and between the front seats, all were carelessly dumped in the back of the car which I had a hard time to arrange them back. My observation is that they are ok for outside cleaning, but definitely not good for interior cleaning, and absolutely not a healthy work. If they use the car heater to dry the interior of the car, one can imagine the amount of car fuel used for the drying.

The staffs are really friendly and the place gas adequate parking as well. The washing process was good and they dod wash the exterior pretty well but the interior cleaning was not at all good there were lot of leftovers and the biggest issue is no one is there to ensure the quality of work before delivery. The workers may not have that level of attention to details but there should be some one to ensure the quality. In my case they didn't even clean the interior mats and they put back the dusty matt back after cleaning.

A good car wash facility along the Arakuzha route. Appreciate the friendly nature of the staff. Has got ample parking facility and a decent lounge for the customers. It's mostly a manual washing facility and not a fully automated one, but they will ensure quality of work. Recommended!
