The tatste for mutton biryani was so delicious. Mutton just melted in the mouth. Highly recommend recommend tbe mutton biryani and mutton chops.
One negative is that they dont accept online/UPI payments on weekdays to avoid Tax deductions. This has to change.
With so much profit they dont even provide the proper handsoap to wash the hands.
SLR biriyani grabbed my attention after all the positive feedback it has been received for it's delicious food. Finally got my chance to visit them on Sunday, 29th Oct 2023 and try the dishes my self.
We reached SLR Biriyani @ 8am. There were a couple of other customers present there and already savouring the dishes. We ordered Thatte Idly, Mutton chops, Chicken Fry and Mutton Biriyani. Service was good & quick.
Thatte Idly was super-soft and tasted delicious with the mutton gravy. Mutton biriyani tasted good. Mutton chops and chicken fry were average in taste. Mutton pieces in chops and biriyani were very hard. I was dissapointed with this.
My Conclusion:
It would be good if they could add a few more chicken dishes in their menu. I recommend this place for their Idly and mutton gravy. Mutton chops & mutton biriyani are over-hyped.
Idli and Mutton chops was heavenly, very friendly staff. Food is prepared by family members, mutton chops and Biryani was brilliant.Biryani usually sells out before 11am on Sundays
The ambience was good and place was not too big, in 1 table 4 seats available v tired mutton biryani, idly, mutton chops the meat was tasty juicy yummy
Food was Amazing, pakka Nati style, idli sambar and mutton chops was extraordinary but I felt biriyani could you have been better, may be people who likes to eat biriyani with light masala might like it, meat quality ultimate, super ambience, worth visiting once..!
Visit with your family or friends otherwise you might feel expensive..!
I'm veg but accompanied a bunch of carnivores. By the way they were polishing off all the spare parts, I'm sure they enjoyed it
Biriyani is made early in the day and gets over quite fast though...
Food = Life
Can't stop myself from visiting this hotel over again.
How many times does one get lucky with a rustic meaty meal on the highway.
Pulled over to have this delicious, mouthwatering and flavorsome mutton utta or locally called maamsa utta.
You get a plate of rice, 6 chunky pieces of perfectly cooked meat and unlimited maamsa saaru.
The food is cooked on wood fire and you can get a nice smokey taste in every bite you eat. The maamsa had a good kick of spice and felt all the spices was hand ground and fresh.
The meats are fresh as they have live feeds at the backyard. You are to taste the freshest meat when you stop here.

Literally stumbled upon this 'Malabar' restaurant, kind of in the middle of nowhere; on the way back from coorg, (nelamangala-bangalore route). Some very interesting music was being played out loud. It's run by Mr. Kadhar, a mangalorean with some dee
