Slounge - Lounge in Chennai - Chennai, India

This Lounge bar is located in Lemon tree hotel, where i stayed. The pricing is a little on the higher side, but the cocktails were worth it. I had an LIIT and it was awesome! The bartender Vishnu makes really good cocktails. The music and ambience is good. There's a pool table to unwind. The options of starters and food is very limited. They should improve this.

Could be booked hourly basis. Minimum from 3 hours to 12 hours. Flexible check-in timing. It seems to be 3 * Hotel. The staffs in hotel express kindness and politeness

Firstly, let me speak about the positives and why I rated it poor. The place is decent, and can be a good hangout. It has a pool table. The low side It just kept playing the same song for about an hour or 45 mins that I spent there. It really did not calm me down though Rema kept on Saying "Calm down" for the time I was there. Next, they did not have beer, no draught beer, no other brand apart from the local single brand which is refused. Next, limited brands of Whiskey and Vodka. Asked for Teachers Highland, not there. Most bottles are empty. The bar counter was with no person, the same person serving tables and the counter. Lot of waiting time.

A friend from college was visiting and we chose to go there as it close to Guindy metro. Surprisingly on a Friday night we were the only ones there. But since we had a lot of catching up to do and we had the billiards table all to ourselves, we had a really great time. The food was decent and the ambiance is rustic and simple. Definitely going back there with a slightly larger group.

It's located on the first floor of lemon Tree Shimona with ample car parking. It's exactly opposite to miot hospital and walkable distance from dlf it park. The ambience and crowd is just good and they have a snooker table to kill some time. They have a normal lcd TV and another large screen to display TV channels. Coming to food items and drinks, we ordered French fries, kung pao chicken, prawns and chettinadi chicken. Kung pao chicken was too good in taste. But prawns was not tasty as expected. No issues with the drinks though. The most important point here is their billing. Be sure to check their bills before settling. They charge a hefty service charge without our consent and also levy gst over the service charge. But once we went and asked the server, they reduced that from the bill. And our bill reduced by 500rs. Another problem here is the unavailability of enough menu cards. We waited almost 15 mins to get menu card.

It's a lonely place with no one around,no decent food on the menu and a strange logic where they sell Beer by the jug ( 1250ml) for the price of a pitcher. Recommend avoiding this place

A good watering hole, especially if you are staying in Lemon Tree, after a busy day in Chennai
