Sleepy Sam -The Traveller's Hostel - Bed & breakfast in Gangtok - East District, India

I stayed at Sam's for two nights and was so comfortable there it was hard to leave. The hostel itself is extremely clean, well maintained, homely and Sam is an amazing guy, giving welcome pointers and tips for travelling around. Breakfast was perfect and Sam won't let you leave for the day on a half full stomach. He's full of energy and makes this hostel what it is. Incredible value, can't recommend enough!

It's one of the best hostel I've stayed in so far. You will get clean bed along with washed bedsheet and towel for each person. And icing of the cake is the breakfast with the view!! Man! Sam is the best host you will ever meet. He will give you the tasty breakfast, many many stories, energetic vibe, and will help you in all possible ways he can. This place is a must try one just for the hospitality, enthusiastic host and beautiful breakfast with the view Thank you so much Sam :)

I stayed at Sleepy Sam for 4 nights in Gangtok. The rooms and the facilities were super clean and well maintained. Sam is also a great guy who's full of energy and always looking to help the guests in anyway he can so that people have best experience possible. He served a healthy breakfast as well and didn't want any of his guests to leave the hostel on an empty stomach (he'd prepare a super early meal in case someone needed to leave early).

It's one of the best hostel I've stayed in so far. It was a trip for a week and never felt that I was away from home. All thaks to Sam's hospitality. You'll get the best in class service, A washed bedsheets, towels, blankets, pillow with cover. Hygine is one of the important aspect there. Sam is one of the best host you will ever meet. You'll get delicious breakfast everyday and it's made by himself along with the the stories guidance throughout the stay. He'll help you with the best and cheapest options / suggestions to spend holiday and travel throughout the Sikkim. The place has one of the best views of nature. It's one of the best hostels I've ever been to. The place have clean beds, well maintained rooms and services along with a wonderful host. Sam had been very helpful and made the stay comfortable. I really had a great experience.

Best part of sleepysam is the host, Sam. We had a great experience at his hostel. Sam has a great passion for his guests and treats like his family. You can literally ask him any help and he will try his best helping. The hostel is located 1km from the MG Market. You can either walk some 1km or take a shared taxi to reach the market. The view was awesome from the terrace. "Sleepy Sam - The Traveller's Hostel" definitely is a best place to stay at gangtok.

Very clean, hygienic,safe and homely as a home away from home. I cherish the pleasant memories I had at Sleepy Sam.

Seriously best ever hostel that I have ever been to. Super cool host, clean rooms with clean bathroom. Totally worth my money. Every guest is special for him. He interacts with everyone and take cares of anything you want. Very lenient with timings. Breakfast was cooked right in front of our eyes. A must visit at once you are at Gangtok. P.S. Amazing view from rooftop.
