Sky Lounge is one of the reputed restaurant in Akola. This place gave me feeling of 3 star hotel where you can have multiple options in food and also with drink. This place offers cocktail, mocktai and hard drink like beer n others. There is a roof top sitting arrangement and also have in door sitting arrangement with AC. Coming to the food part I ordered cheese corn ball which was delicious. I got disappointed with main course where Sabji was not up to the standards. Pricing here is somehow expensive which can be understood if you consider the ambience. Overall I will recommend to visit this place once and then afterwards you can decide yourself.
Ordered Tandoor starter which was really pathetic. To make my experience more worse was the real menace of mosquitoes in the AC area of the restaurant. But then the saving grace which made me not give one star was Chinese had ordered for Hakka Noddles and Manchurian and it was really good especially Manchurian. So overall a place that is overpriced with mediocre service and inconsistent food. Not to mention mosquitoes which was a big menace.
We heard mixed reviews about this place and decided to visit it with some anticipation for our family dinner. The ambience was welcoming. Since it was Diwali time it was packed and after some to and fro we were asked to go to the rooftop. It had comfortable seating and good lighting which made the night view even better. Coming to food, we ordered: Starters: Veg Manchow Soup - It was simply hot water. They didn't serve any sauces for seasoning either. Veg Chilli babycorn Paneer Peri Peri - Only dish in the menu that I didn't like. Paneer was raw and it was served cold. Almost tasteless. Main Course: Paneer Rajwadi, Veg Patiala, assorted rotis and Dal Khichdi Considering the crowd the service was good. Although our experience was pleasant I'm doubtful that I'll visit again soon. You can go for a quiet and relaxed time though.
Need too much changes. Seating chairs to be changed. Food quality must be improved. And service should be fast.
Visited first time and it was not much crowded. Ambience is fit for any metro city restaurant and much needed for Akola. Restaurant is bit costly compared to other city restaurants, but then the menu and ambience is upscale and you might forget you are not in Pune or Bengaluru but in Akola. Menu is really inclusive of all cuisines and we had wonderful Indian and Italian dishes which might have been impossible before in the city. Overall a very beautiful place to spend time with friend or family.
Ambience is good.Place is good for break from your routine schedule.Both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food, Chinese and continental is available.Tried cheese corn ball,. Veg 99, Corn crispy with summer special mint mocktail and awesomely amazing KitKat mocktail.Best to have photos for your profile.
