I was lucky to be tutored by Sagar sir and Kavya mam for almost a year. Learning Taekwondo when you are approaching 40 is daunting - but Sagar sir made it so easy. He is an honest, hard working master, who is patient and motivates his students according to their physical abilities. Kavya mam is his perfect partner - extremely skilled and composed - she stands up to backfill and complements Sagar sir's teaching techniques. In one year not just I could rise to blue stripe, he helped boosting my confidence and self discipline. Its a life changing and self defining experience. Am so happy that I chose to jump into Taekwondo, and so lucky that I found Sagar sir as my master. I had to quit STA due to an inter continental job shifting - but he encouraged me to restart in the US - waiting to restart. But am sure am going to miss his encouragement and patience and coaching techniques. Am so happy I met you - and I hope and pray to earn my black belt some day to send you the same as my 'gurudakshina'. Thanks for being there! Am sure you guys are going places!

Master Sagar N has been a great mentor and motivated my daughter to develop interest in taekwondo and improve physical and mental strength in the process. He encourages the students to push their boundaries and believe in themselves to a point where they believe they can try new things and succeed in them. He has been 100% punctual in the 2 years of classes my daughter has attended and that's the discipline that students watch and learn too. Ms. Kavya, as the students say, is strict and very focused. Indeed such strong women teachers make a huge difference to young girls. Also, the masters have given the students opportunity to take part in national and international taekwondo tournaments which is a big boost to their confidence. Overall, Skanda Taekwondo Academy is a great place for children to learn the martial art and better their strength.

My lil girl has been learning taekwondo from STA and there is a lot of changes in her. Her flexibility has improved. Good stamina level. The coaches are patiently coaching the kids and ensure they learn the art in a proper way. I also feel my daughter is safe inside the campus and she will grow up to be bold and independent girl.
