This is a good library and there is lot of Malayalam books, English books and as well as Malayalam magazines. The place is great to spend time peacefully. The incharge helped me and allowed me to look into everything in there
It is not a park as the name indicates. It is only a community Hall without parking facility. The old water tanks are now used as rooms for displaying items related to the writer SK Pottekkad.
Nice place to visit. Entry fee is less. It is built in the memory of great malayalam writer S.K Pottakadu sir. It will refresh the mind of people. Lot of sculptures are arranged there and many momeries of S K pottakadu sir. It can added to the school visit times. It will be an inspiration to the students. Near to the busstand and railway station. You can reach there by bus. But autorickshaw is most preferable mode of transportation to reach their from railway station and Bus stand. Good place to bring young kids.

S.K. Pottekkatt Park Committee was formed in December 1985 for building a memorial to the writer. This place is nostalgic for me because 2 years of my higher secondary school days we frequently visited here. Nice place and auditorium. Those old day's our school program was conducted in these auditorium.
Suitable for conducting parties and marriage functions for around 500 members. Parking also there but can accommodate only around 10 to 15 four wheelers. An auditorium with stage and an area for dining is there. It is in the name of Sri S K Pottakkad who was a well known writer in malayalam, and whos home was near this place.
