I have spend good time in the ashram. I had flexibility to do sadhana and my work as well. I used to do asana sadhana 2 times in day morning and evening. I love the chanting class and satsang as well. This is great place to rejuvenate and re-energise ourself. This is must visit place on regular internal to recharge and reconnect. Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Tapaswini Ashram is a new ashram located in Gudur town of Andhra Pradesh, South India. It was founded by Sri Swami Vishnudevananda, a disciple of Sri Swami Sivananda of Rishikesh, who established the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centres organisation. The ashram is dedicated to the teaching of classical Yoga and Vedanta to promote physical, mental and spiritual health. The ashram offers various courses and retreats for beginners and advanced practitioners, including yoga vacation, work vacation and yoga teachers' training course (TTC). The yoga vacation program is designed to recharge your batteries and rejuvenate your body and mind with twice daily asana classes, meditation, talks on yoga philosophy and kirtan. The work vacation program allows you to continue your work and enjoy ashram life simultaneously, balancing your working hours with daily yoga practices. The TTC is a four-week intensive course that gives you the skills to teach yoga asana and meditation, as well as a solid grounding in the classical yoga tradition. The TTC is certified by Indian Yoga Association (IYA) and Yoga Alliance (North America). The ashram is spread across 15 acres of land, with a vast temple dedicated to Lord Shiva and other deities in the heart of it. Positive feedback: I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Sivananda Tapaswini ashram, and I must say it was an incredible experience. The serene and peaceful surroundings were exactly what I needed to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of city life. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, and the staff was incredibly kind and hospitable. I also enjoyed the daily yoga and meditation sessions, which were led by knowledgeable and experienced instructors. The food was delicious, healthy, and made with love. Overall, my stay at the ashram was nothing short of fantastic, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and rejuvenating getaway. Critical feedback: While I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the ashram, there were a few areas where I felt improvements could be made. Firstly, the Wi-Fi connection is only at the reception, and network connection in the dorm was poor, this was a bit frustrating sometimes. Secondly, while the food was tasty and healthy, I found it to be quite ricee (majorly rice as it's south india, rarely chapati) but it was sattvik so I loved it and i understand as a yoga practitioner I should be ready adapt so no loss. Lastly, some rare electricity issues. Despite these small areas for improvement, I still had a lovely time at the ashram and would definitely consider returning in the future. I especially enjoyed the talent show on Saturdays. Director sir sandeep ji is extremely helpful and always there to help. Overall I had a great time.

We enjoyed a lot nine-day stay in Sivananda Ashram Gudur. We were lucky to visit the Ashram at the onset of the monsoon, so the weather was rather cool. Everyone in the Ashram was soft-spoken, helping nature, and always smiling. Asanas were taken by Shri Aman Sir, Shri Krishna Sir, and Shri Vishnu Sir. Satsang, Lectures, Aaarti, the talent show, and other activities were conducted by Sharmil Madam and Stuti Madam and we loved to participate in every activity! The yoga hall, dormitory, toilets, and entire campus were immaculate. We relished variety of delicious South Indian foods. My special thanks to Didi who used to cook. In a nutshell, it was a nice time.

Great to stay at this Ashram, as less staff vast serene atmosphere which fills peace and tranquility. Good schedule for Yoga Pranayam.. Must take a chance to stay for 3 days atleast.. All teachers are quite friendly All staff make you feel home Sometimes u may improve some food items or north Indian type food

A lovely peaceful place! Its still under construction but the main buildings are finished. Once ifs fully finished it will be a paradise same as the one in Kerala. Staff is super friendly, really nice food and the yoga and philosophy classes are great. I will return one day hopefully!

This is a highly pathetic place run by egoistic greedy people. The director is such a greedy person even he asked money for his wife's delivery from everyone coming there. They have made this a family business. He use all resources alloted for ashram for his family needs. Even the people enrolled in their courses have pathetic experience and many left in middle of the course (although total count is in single digit) . The other staffs(sharmeen merchant, krishna, vishnu, sharenthu) are merely their puppets and bully visitors as per director's need. Even one staff (jitendra chaudhary aka krishna) and one visitor Hari have been brain washed by their Swami Janardanananda and been continuously utilizing their money for their own purpose. They had started one year course SYVUM in year 2021 which was horrible and half of the strength left the course.Again, they are starting the same course. We heard of fake people in spirituality and this is the best example. So, people beware of these money minded people and be wise
