Worst Experience! Never ever book this hotel. It's a loss of your money... The staff over here is not cooperative they don't know how to talk to customers.. Staff is unprofessional. It just looks good from outside but from inside it's worst than a 3rd graded lodge... Worst Staff Worst Rooms And Worst experience. They don't even deserve 1 star!
I planned to stay two days at this hotel ,So I booked Non AC which is the cost of Rs.1450. Non AC - Small Room and cost is high, Bath Towel, Tourist Kit ( Paste,Soap,Oil, face powder) Heater - Only Available from 3:30 to Sometime not 24/7. Room - Not as per the Image, Please refer my photos. Bathroom - Clean and Okay Water - Yellow Colour Water Mosquito - Yes because near by Drainage water. Room Service - Good Stay Customer Service - WhatsApp Update and Good Service by Manager As per the cost, I am not satisfied for the stay. so I moved to another hotel with Same cost.

I recently stayed here along with my parents in Aug-2023, one of the worst experiences had firstly we had booked non AC there was no bedsheets provided and complete night we faced mosquito issues didn't sleep well. I had brought mosquito repellent but the power socket was not working. Also mid night when I approached the receptionist for help due to mosquito issues no respond. So my honest response is please don't go for this stay here at Kumbakonam try some other stays better, I am not sure how is the non AC rooms.
Comfy room for 2 adults. Location is close to the bus stand and good vegetarian restaurants like Balaji Bhavan. Both are within reasonable walking distance.
Be careful to NEGOTIATE the room rates clearly! The guys at the reception are smart enough to make the bills with higher rates and charge you.. Please be cautious!!..we needed 2 rooms, discussed the rates for both well in advance.. however THEY MANIPULATED THE RATE OF THE 2ND ROOM AND CHARGED US FOR ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!..if this is the case i will NOT recommend this place to my friends.
