Sivagangai railway station offers convenient transportation options, with a well-maintained facility and helpful staff. It provides a smooth and efficient travel experience for passengers. The station's cleanliness and amenities are commendable. Overall, Sivagangai railway station is a reliable and comfortable choice for travelers. But only limited shop surround in this station... One major problem is this is outside on the district so limited buses available... But always auto are available in 24x7
Pretty small station building. Two platforms. Platform 1 is where most trains arrive and depart. Platform 2 is rarely used and under construction now. No shops in the station or outside the station. In case you want to buy food, you will have to walk towards the mainroad. No bus facility, you will find few auto rickshaws at the entrance. Basic facilities are available. Lots of trees outside the station and you feel relaxed while waiting for the train. Not a busy and hustle kind of station.
One of the main railway station in trichy-manamadurai route. All the trains stop here for a while. It has all the basic facilities and its quite clean and good. Still the old banyan trees are there and we can breathe some fresh air too.
Sivaganga railway station is a less used railway station located on the Trichirappalli- Rameswaram rail line. Trains are available to cities like Chennai, Trichy, Thanjavur, Ramnad, Karaikudi, Rameswaram, Virudhunagar, Manamadurai, Pudukkottai, etc., Efforts can be made to increase the number of trains stopping here as most of the train in this line halts only at Karaikudi Junction and Manamadurai Junction. Station is neat with less crowded and less facilities available.
