Very big lake. It was over flow 3-4 times this year. It is fully polluted by the people living near to the lake. I don't know why people throwing the wastes and garbages to lake sides. Whoever polluting the water sources needs to be punished severely.
Just make a visit and enjoy. But one should be very careful because it is slippery. And do not take bath. Not very near and clean. Government should develop this area by promoting (boating) tourism.
Sad to see how the lakes are maintained badly for public. I posted a picture of similar lake in USA here and see how well it is maintained for the public.. wake up Indians and question your local municipal authorities
Biggest lake in madambakkam highway and birds always be there. This summer water is drained. Lake is connected with forest area.
It's not maintained you cannot visit those place as a spot. There was plenty of water when I visited there.
Large lake with lot of insect and birds habitat which had lot of potential but poorly maintained and created garbage dump yard near by affecting the natural habitat.

Most beautiful place to watch a sunset. The sun sets so beautifully. There are lots of space for walking and driving. Go to this place by 4 o clock and watch the sunset.
Peaceful place for a morning walk. Kids will love this place and will have a good time playing in the children's park with the ducks. We can even have a pleasant boat ride with our loved once.
