Loved the serenity of this place, very neat and clean and when there is breeze blowing over and around this place this itself becomes the "Jannat", very soothing place is the Sita Vatika. It is a small garden to relax and spend some good time in nature's lap beside a hillock. It is very good fir health
Sita Devi performed the pind-daan offering to King Dasharatha at Sita Kund in Gaya. It is one of the most significant holy sites in Gaya and is situated on the eastern bank of the Falgu river in the Indian state of Bihar. Lord Rama and Lakshmana had also planted their lotus feet here, in addition to Sita Devi. Although there are Sita Kunds in other places, such as the one in Munger, Bihar, the Sita Kund in Gaya has a unique personality all its own. Here, beneath the sand on the banks of the Falgu river, the Gupt Ganga river runs. The Gupt Ganga's holy waters can be viewed by making a small hole in the sand with your bare hands. The statue of Sita Devi and King Dasharatha's hand accepting a pinda can be found in the Sita Kunda historical shrine. King Dasharatha is holding one pinda while keeping the other two pindas by the side. As you enter the main gate from the ghat on the Falgu river bank, the temple is to your left.
Nice place to spend time with ur family, friends... Amazing view of river. try to visit this... I'm sure you will enjoy.
I would suggest you to go in the evening so that you can enjoy the colourful scenic view of rubber dam view and also get some nice pictures for insta
This place is just on the shore of Falgu River. You can go here for getting some peace of mind. It's safe for family to go here as there are plenty of space. People believe that Sita Mata sat here while Ravana kidnapped her. I may be wrong. There are little statues of deities here for worshipping. However the road which leads here is still in construction so there may be congestion on road while travelling here.
Pitru Tarpan here has special importance. It is said that Bhagwan Ram did pind daan here for his father. Pandit here are knowledgeable and helpful. Tarpan done here brings good luck and prosperity
Beautiful and serene place with quite flowing river. Often the stream is thin throughout the year but becomes wide and huge during the rainy season. Beautiful small temple and well maintained parking area.
Sita Kund(Ramgaya ) holy site for Hindus. It is just located east of vishnupad temple and back of falgu river. In sita kund also notice a Ancient nagara temple. This temple is built in Triratha/Nagar style. This Temple Belong to post Gupta period (uttrguptkaaliin ) and time to Rebuilt it but sadly This Temple now on the verge of extinction. The inscription of Mahendra Pal was found here, in architecture very similar to the Mahabodhi temple(Bodhgaya Bihar), now only the remains of the Trirath style post-Gupta temple are left. This temple is situated on the Ramgaya hill (Now Nagkut)of Gaya on the eastern side of Falgu river in front of Vishnupad temple. The plan, top, tower, door frame prove its antiquity. The architecture of the temple looks similar to the Mahabodhi temple. The carvings are also visible on the upper part of the pillars of the portico. Based on this plan and record of temple construction, this temple is of ninth century(1100 Year Old). According to Cunningham there a also Plate of Dasavatara. Few Century ago this Temple worship ago As shiva Temple.
