Beautiful place very close to Chandigarh. It is Siswan Dam which is now developed as Siswan Nature trail. You have to park your vehicle on Chandigarh Baddi road and then cross over the Dam to reach the resort. Beautiful scenery with lots of peacocks and other birds greet you to the spot. Small eating joint can take care of your basic snacks requirements. You can enjoy boating in the HUGE lake. Two things which need immediate improvement is. Toilets are dirty which need to be maintained hygienically. Second is parking is too small, you have to park your vehicle away on the road.
15 minutes drive from Chandigarh, and you'll be in an enchanted forest. Your lungs will thank you for the clean sweet air and your eyes and heart will sooth themselves on the greenery and nature. It's a beautiful nature trail.

Very calm, serene, beautiful hideout place away from City's hustle bustle near New Chandigarh towards baddi road. It's a beautiful 6kms long nature trek trail that starts from Siswan Dam to Mirzapur village. Don't forget to bring your own food, bottles. DONOT litter waste on the trail.
In summers go as early as possible. Good for a fun or exercise tour
