Siri Nature Roost - Resort hotel in Allampura - Chikkamagaluru, India

It's a good location and a good resort. But the overall experience was not great. Stayed at the jacuzzi rooms and the jacuzzi's are placed outside, in the open with no cover. The Jacuzzi was dirty and had frogs and other insects crawling. Also the one we got was faulty and during the two days of our stay, it was not fixed nor was the complaint taken seriously nor did we get an alternate room. The food was not that great considering the flavours of Chikmagalur and the buffet breakfast was a disaster. The resort was way too expensive considering its quality and service it provided. Would not be an immediate recommendation.

Overall rating is 1. 1. Location - Location is good during the daytime but during night time it is a bit scary. The rooms are very far from the reception and restaurant. 2. Rooms - We opted for a Jacuzzi room. The jacuzzi was broken. When we called for help, my husband only had to suggest how to repair it. It was fixed temporarily and next day since it's outdoor it was full of leaves and so dirty. It wasn't fixed properly. There is no safety, as the jacuzzi was placed outside, lot of frogs and insects were observed and it's very scary outside. The room structuring is very weird. 3. Food - There is no room service. Limited food options. Not tasty. Lot of frozen food like smileys, nuggets etc. were kept for breakfast. Even basic dishes were not good. 4. Staff - Overall staff are good and helpful. We can't really blame them for poor quality/poor designing of rooms. 5. Activities - Not a lot of options or exciting activities to engage in. Very expensive for such poor quality stay ! Very disappointed as we spent a lot of money for nothing worthy !!

Don't ask for extra umbrella there, staff will not give you extra umbrella. They are going to tell you one One umbrella two people and we were 3 it was raining everytime during our stay. Inspite of that they told us to adjust in the same umbrella, three people. the problem is there is a huge distance between room and reception, pool, or buffet area.If you wan't to go out of your room, you have to call the reception and ask for a car to drop you from room to reception. They will say the car will come in 5 minutes and you can wait till the car is coming to drop you. If you are fine in walking (which we were) you can walk, but we were not able to do so, as we got 1 umbrella for three people. It was so uncomfortable. For sometime we felt like we are trapped in a room and can't move from here. We asked the staff for one extra umbrella, he said since you are in a room of two people, we can not provide you extra Umbrella, (why did you even charged for the 3rd person then?) We have stayed in a Jacuzzi room, we booked for 3 people one month in advance. Room: Room was good and clean, extra bed was provided, since we were 3 people. Room is spacious as well. The distance between room and reception is a lot, at night it become scary, you can not go out without calling a car. Food: Very mediocre food for the amount they have charged for a stay there. Staff: Okay Activities: Could'nt try as it was raining everytime.

We stayed here for two days. It was a good decision to book this property. They have very nice hospitality and staff was also very friendly and attentive. They have many indoor as well as outdoor activities. If you want a luxury and romantic stay close to nature then this is the place.

We opted in for Duplex Villa, it was around 1KM inside (which is fine if service is good). Biggest problem is their services and maintenance. No room service (Lack of front staff / lack of drivers and car pick and drop) I called them 10 time, no one picked at reception. The problem is there is only one person handing in evening/night, who drive people here and there, who also handle the reception, who also handle people's arguments (I feel pity for him). No food service to room They said they provide only some snacks as room service, but when I asked them for some snacks, they said they are not providing service today. (Zomato is the saviour, yeah Zomato works here :P ) Duplex Villa Not at all maintained, rooms are spacious, living area is very tiny. kitchen of no use, there are no plates and other cutleries. Pool Not at all maintained, dirty pool, dirty water. dirty tiles around pool. Very disappointing. Location Perfect location (situated between city and mountain ranges), surrounded by greenery inside and as well as outside. Charges 28k for 1 night - at this price, as a consumer I definitely expect a 4/5 star hotel alike services. Owner should start focusing on the maintenance and services.

Good experience. We stayed in the jacuzzi room, it was very nice. Will recommend , but no indoor activities no clubhouse activities not many games .A good stay for going sight seeing .

A very pleasant place with vast space. Villas/room are quiet far from lunch and common area so its quiet a walk. Good place, price of place is high, food is economical. Good and friendly staff. Do try out ayurvedic spa as it will refresh more

Rooms are outdated and need immediate upgrade. Due to moisture and fungus in the rooms you stay will not be that great. Resort excellent location is Ok.
