Good for people who are interested in science and technology. Good learning experience for children
Sir M Visvesvaraya Museum at Bhadravathi was earlier Chairman Bungalow where Sir M Visvesvaraya stayed while he was the Chairman of the then Mysore Wood Distilleroes Works later renamed as MysorebIron and Steel Works and now called as Visvesvaraya Iron and Steel Plant.
This was converted as Museum in memory of the Great Engineer Statesman Sir M Visvesvaraya and is maintained by the Town Administration Department and is located within the VISL Guest House campus.
The keys are with the VISL Guest House Security and visit can be arranged on request.
It has some of the furniture used by Sir MV, photographs from his residence at Muddenahalli his hometown, a life size statue of him and His Highness Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wodeyar. The golden coloured metallic bust of Sir MV greets the visitors to this Museum which is located in beautiful sylvanic surroundings with walk path and is a must visit place for any Tourist interested in walking down the memory lane .
It is a great place for children, under 14 years, to visit, even though others could also find it interesting here.
There a lot to see and know. You can spend an entire day here, if you could find these 'science made simple' things interesting.

Pretty good place for science lovers. It has got multiple floors/sections, each of them dedicated to a specific science stream, such as mechanical, electrical, space etc. You can find history /evolution of each of the stream in that section. It's really pretty good.
A great place to understand the reason behind how each object is working.
But can be maintained well, usually not soo crowded. Maintenance need to taken care much. Rest rooms are not all proper.
Some of the equipments are always under repair. Some would have torn away. Very few are working in a good condition.
Not soo worthy when all are not in good condition.
