One of best experience in Kashmir was this place, full of snow, best thing about this place was it was not at all crowded as you will not find this place in your any tour package. The Maggie we had after 3-4 hour masti(fun) in the snow was best. Must visit place, but if you planning to visit Kashmir in the month of December then maybe it will restricted area in that month due to heavy snow
Easy to moderate track to the top Beautiful viewing of snow clad mountain range,meadow and nearly about 9 hair pin bands. Exhilarating experience.
We visited this in june and it was completely filled with snow. This place is a 3.5 hour drive from Srinagar and is not widely suggested to the tourists. The entire drive was scenic covered with green trees on one side and snow mountain on the other. The last 30 min ride had snow on both the side The destination is usually described. But the path to this destination is an experience that cannot be explained! The mountain was India's beauty at its best. This is the best place I've been. Heavenly Experience

Great location. Nice drive to the top. Snow is less at this time of the year (July). Small eateries on the top. There is a toll after daksum where local police may stop you from going. We were lucky. Worth the drive and views
Nice scenic place i would say even though there is not much you can do, because of no recreational facilities available. The place is plain and green, mountain tops with clouds flying above your head. You will enjoy the road more,Good experience overall

When in Kashmir do visit this off beat place. Very very beautiful and secluded from the crowd The ice is fresh and white. You can enjoy activities like sledge over here. Enjoy hot khawa, tea coffee maggie, although it might be expensive No restrooms are available anywhere near the top. Warm clothes can be rented on the way to the top with a charge of 300rs for one garment set.
