Sinon Baga Retreat - Resort hotel in Baga - North Goa, India

Nice hotel. The room size is small for the money paid. However it's a beach resort, accessing the beach is not a problem during the day time. At night, the club activities start, so it's restricted to walk through the hotel's restaurant.

Excellent hotel with an excellent location location located at exactly on the beach. We had quite a comfortable stay. The hotel staff was very friendly and cooperative, especially catering to our demands as we were traveling with a kid. Hotel has many kid friendly options and environment too. Beach and Las Olas are in walking distance. Would definitely recommend this hotel to everybody. It's a true sample of excellent hospitality. Thank you Sinon Baga and Las Olas again for going just that little step extra for the guests and Makin our stay memorable.

We stayed at sinon baga retreat for 4 days. Before reaching sinon we decided to change the resort after two days but the hospitality in sinon was outstanding. Generous and polite staff. They value their guests. Will love to come again.

It's a good property to stay in if you want to have easy access to the party district of North Goa i.e. Baga Beach. Stay quality is comfortable and 3 star amenities are provided. They have a superb restaurant that dishes out delicious local and international fare. Service is just awesome. The restaurant is managed by Pratyush Panda, is very knowledgeable about different cuisines and will always make the right suggestions. Satinder from reservations will ensure you have a comfortable stay. Their night club, Las Olas is one of the best Bollywood club in the area. It's attached to the property, but be ready to cough up a hefty cover charge. But totally worth it...

Apart from the beach being close to the property there is nothing good. Rooms are not clean. Housekeeping is not done properly. Staff is very arrogant. The pool is dirty. And the size of the room is not cool for kids too. They don't change the towels or wash the washrooms . There is a typical smell in the room too. There was power cut as well. Highly recommend not to stay here and explore other options.

Pros - It is just 1 min walk away from the Baga beach and has good service. Looks safe for couples too. Cons - The entire resort has 20 rooms and none of them have a window or a ventilation, it's more of a packed environment. Someone with claustrophobia will suffocate to stay here. Rooms are a bit small too :( To maintain the good smell around the rooms, they always lit the scented agarbatti's.

The hotel was okayish. Not a 5 start property for sure!! Too too costly! I had booked it for Rs 7500 including tax for one night. Stayed there for two nights. Rooms: - they are too too small. Ok for two person to spend your night. There is no place to spread your wet clothes. Most of the time you will spend outside the hotel, visiting places/beach. You will get bathroom toiletries but no room slippers. Bathroom also small. Breakfast:- spread is very limited, I would call as average. You can enjoy the beach view while having breakfast though. 24x7 restaurant service available (either at room / restaurant). Restaurant is turned in the pub area at night. Swimming pool:- is too small (no one gets into it as its of no use because of the size). Staff:- Behaviour good. I didn't feel anything bad. They were courteous. It also has its own pub "Las Olas". Crowd is ok at night. The entrance of the pub is beautiful. Also they put chairs and tables on the beach from 7 pm and they put up some decorations and lights which feels good. Conclusion: If you want to spend max time on the beach and don't care about luxury stay, then you can go for it. The price they charge is mainly for its location and accessibility of baga beach. Only pros is that it is situated just on the baga beach and you can access the beach anytime, as you will not feel lazy to get down from room and go to the beach. You can get better hotels than this at lesser price (like Hard Rock hotel, calangute, 5 star hotel). Rooms and swimming pool too small.

I recently visited the hotel. And stayed for 2 days. Location is almost end of the baga beach and near to Tito's lane Here are some of the pros & cons Pros: 1. Room service is good. They cleaned it nicely and they had a very good manners 2. Easy access to the Baga beach Cons: 1. There is a pub attached to it, so in the night time, we can easily disturbed by the noise. 2. If you order any food to the room, they will come up with the bill, which is so so bad. It happened 3 times for me. So stopped ordering the food. 3. Food wise, only starters are good, but the main coarse is not up to the mark(Don't order rice items at all). 3. Before we book the hotel, I had a call with Receptionist, and he said, you will get a free entry to the pub, as we have booked a room, but they refused at the time of entering the pub. 4. Sometimes you will be annoyed when you talk to staff with their behaviour. overall - I don't book this hotel next time.
