Sinnadorai Bungalow Kadamane Tea Estate - Home Stay in Kadumane Estate - Hassan, India

We had a beautiful stay at Sinnadorai, Kadamane. It feels a different world once you enter the estate. The elegant tea plantations, the mountains, the forest give an ethereal feeling. The sunset from the view point, the serene stream in the middle of the forest, the tea and pakodas at the windy view point, the jeep ride through the forest has given the holiday a next level of happiness. And to top all of that is the very warm and comfortable Sinnadorai bungalow. It is Immaculately maintained, beautifully decorated and with a cook who seems to have magic in his hands. The simple home styled food is delicious. Everyone at the property is polite, courteous and helpful. Thanks to Ms Radhika for her kindness and guidance in helping us have a lovely holiday.

Right from the call from Ms. Radhika Cariappa to confirm the visit the previous day to the drive up from Sakeleshpur to the Kadamane Estates - it was a pleasant beginning. The drive from Bangalore took all of 5 hours in the morning including a break for breakfast. The warm welcome, the simple but exquisite room coupled with personal and excellent hospitality, not to forget the simple but very good food - it's a clear 5 out of 5. Do not miss the walks around, trek in the morning, drive up the hill for the sunset view point with tea/ coffee snacks served there and the drive down to the stream with lunch served. Take the jeep and driver provided by the Estate for a nominal charge. And do not forget to read the book Tea-Tote-Um to know about the history of the Estate set in the 1930s and the small but incredible "Bear Girl" - a real life incident in the 1950s in Kadamane. Or to take a peep into the common room to espy the vintage writing and calculating machines, photographs and bottles of old wine in an old bottle. Kadamane Resorts - Old Wine in a New Modern Bottle.

Amazing food. spacious rooms. very helpful staff who give you all the information you need. Went on a Jeep tour to two points in the tea estate which were good..

Superb property and location.! The staff and the manager - Radhika require a special mention. We were pampered and spoilt and it really felt like we had gone home. The place is beautifully decorated and maintained. The food is simple home cooked fare but very tasty with a whole lot of variety. It is most definitely recommended if you need a break from the city humdrum and wish to just immerse in nature. Just a 4 hour drive from Bangalore, the place is easily accessible. We would most definitely love to go back again.

The resort is an excellent place for a get away from city life. Located in a very serene and awesome place, the rooms are quite big and comfortable. The food is quite good especially the breakfast and the staff are very friendly and courteous. I definitely recommend this place for a quiet and peaceful vacation, and Sept to Jan is the most ideal time to visit. The view point is awesome and something you definitely need to do, especially in the evening and they organize snacks and chairs to relax and enjoy the awesome view.

Have travelled in December last week. Simply to say... WONDERFUL. Wonderful place , wonderful people, nice ambience and good food. Very safe place and entertaining to stay with kids. 5acre view point and nearby trekking was awesome. If with kids, go for a short trek.

It's a wonderful property in the middle of the Kadamane tea estate. The view of the forest from the resort is breathtaking. The only way to reach the place is by driving. We visited the resort in the month ofJuly, there was heavy rain and it was very cold too. The property is very well managed. There are rooms in the main building and cottages next to it. My personal favorite are the rooms in the main building. The package includes all meals and afternoon tea. The food served here is delicious. We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. My special thanks to Mrs Radhika, the Property Manager and all the staff of the resort for the wonderful time we had. I would love to visit this place again.

A very good place/ property to spend your holidays. This is one of the prime properties available in Sakleshpur. Property: 5* Location: 5* Room: 4.5* - You do not get complete toiletries. (Oral care, handwash/ sanitizer - not available) Food: 4* - Tasty food. - Limited menu. - Any local homestay would offer better Menu Staff: 2* - Property manager is good & helpful. - Ground staff is lethargic however. Leisure facility: 2.75* - They've got avg. indoor badminton facility but not equipped with decent rackets and shuttlecock. With multiple follow up, the staff would only handover the keys and you need to find the facility on your own. - Rest are ok/ manageable. Overall: 4.5* (Excluding leisure facility & lethargic ground staff)
