Singhvi's Haveli guest house - Hotel in Jodhpur - Jodhpur, India

Pros: 1. Very close to Mehrangarh fort 2. Clean and spacious rooms Cons: 1. It is so interior that your mobility is completely restricted if you want to be on your own. Cab takes your only till a point 1 km away from the place. Autowallahs don't easily agree to go inside. The hosts may help you out with this but they are too busy entertaining the foreigners and may not have time for you. 2. Cafe takes a lot of time serving even simple stuff like tea on the pretext of making it afresh for you. 50 mins to get 2 tea cups served was indeed an epic experience. 3. The owner is too busy and rude to be able to listen to you and help. So you are on your for anything and everything. 4. The rooms have quite explicit romantic pictures and hence please consider this point based on your family setup All in all, I don't recommend this place especially for Indian travellers.

What I liked: 1. Staying in a real Haveli gifted by the Raja centuries ago. 2. It is close to Pachetia hill and old blue Jodhpur. 3. The ride in a tuk tuk rikshaw from Clock tower to the haveli is no less than a Disney ride. :-) What could've been better: 1. It was far from many attractions like fort (main entrance), Umaid Bhavan, Jaswant Thada, etc. 2. The surrounding areas are extremely congested, highly densely populated, roads are too narrow, with garbage strewn all over. The residents here treat the street like a garbage dump. Absolutely no respect for cleanliness. However, the Haveli was clean, with a minor smell of mildew in the bathroom.

Hotel is situated right in the old blue city you need to arrive by tuktuk as the roads are too narrow for cars the room I had was very nice right at the top of the premises with fantastic views looking out over the city and fort, staff are pleasant and helpful food Was good.

Amazing rooms. Great furnishing and decorations like in old times. Good service and cleaning. No elevator, and you have to climb high steps for at least a couple of floors to get to the lowest room

Best place to stay in Jodhpur...nice ambiance...very good food..rooms are near and clean...best sunset view from the terrace

Beautiful old Haveli over five floors, full of character and in a perfect location. Stunning views of the old town and fort, with bells and chants drifting up from the surrounding temples and mosques as the sun sets. Staff are great, rooms are nicely decorated/clean with AC and hot water, and food from the restaurant is tasty and reasonably priced.

I recently stayed at this hotel and while the room was clean and the atmosphere was nice, I have to say that it was just okay overall. Unfortunately, I didn't feel that it was worth the amount that I paid for it. One of the highlights of the room was definitely the view. I had a great view of the city and it was a really pleasant view. Additionally, the atmosphere in the room was quite nice, with calming colors and a comfortable bed.

Amazing view and rooms.Hotel interior and Design is well done. I loved taking photos and flying my drone.hotel staff were really nice and gave us all that was requested in a timely manner . I was fortunate enough to get access to all rooms and see the beauty of the work done by the owner. You cannot go wrong with this hotel booking. This place is great for everyone.
