Sub-urban railway station - Chennai Beach to Chingleput line, about little more than one hour and fifteen minutes travel from Chennai. The station was initially meant for devotees of Padalathdri Ugra Narasimha Swamy and Mahalakshmi Thayar Temple. Now the place is well developed and most happening sub-urban Chennai. Reasonably well maintained by Indian Railways. A few more facilities like more drinking water pipes & Electronic Ticket Counters to reduce peak hour rush, serpentine queue.

it's 56km from here to Chennai City, little town with basic amenities. For rent purpose plenty of house are available here at not so exorbitant rates. Basically many including me are here for apprenticeship and jobs in the Industrial Corridor Oragadam

Could have managed better can see advertisement pasted on station signboard, should not encourage. Also last minute paltfotm change which is causing difficulty to students and elder people to cross and board.. pls take care

traffic area. Roads connecting this station is in poor condition.. Need to be developed on the perimeter side of station. Inside station is OK OK condition.
