Nearest Bus station: Baijnath (Himachal Pradesh) And nearest local Bustand: Lad Bharol (Himachal Pradesh) Nearest Railway station: Amb Andaura (130 kms from Baijnath) Pathankot (130 kms from Baijnath) After reaching Mata Simsa Mandir You find Pandit ji in complete street (Pujaris), approximately 180 Pandit ji. You can go with anyone, they will not charge single Pie from any one. They will guide you, make arrangements for accommodation (in Rooms available in Dharamshala at Mandir) or if no rooms in Dharamshala they will give you accomodation at their own home. First thing to do: Carry one Lotta (Gadvi in Punjabi) for bathing and drinking water plus one (Lower half )Ghagra / Peticot (preferred Red color) and (upper half) Kurti (preferred Red color). Take food , water whatever you want to eat as per your choice. Now pujari will advise you for bath and spritual acts, they will give you 5 dryfruits. 2 dryfruits to be use during bathing and 3 for Puja. Now go for bathing at Kund (where Maa Simsa used to go for bathing) it's near temple and 300 Steps down is also called as Bodi ka Snan in Hindi. No use of Towel after bathing and hair wash not required only you can take Water in hand and just sprinkle on your hairs. During the bath keep 2 dryfruits and 1 coin (any 1 RS , 2 RS etc) under your right foot and take a bath. After bath wear Kurti and Ghagra (NO UNDERGARMENTS), you can wear jacket or sweater also, no restrictions. After coming back from Kund , take water filled Lotta (Gadwi) from Kund. Now go to Pujari where you stay and they will (Lady Pandit) to the temple for sleep. Now take your blankets, And packet of Ardas. Ardas packet will have 3 dryfruits, mishri, dhoop and ardaas amount of 11 Rs , 21 Rs or any amount as per your wish. Lady Pandit will take you to the temple and pray Maa Simsa with 3 dryfruits and ardaas amount. She will make your place for sleep with available blankets and always pray Jai Maa Simsa. Now sleep there with Mishri packet and lota full of water keep aside you for use, If you feel hungry eat mishri and feel thirsty drink Water from Lotta. Mata Simsa will come in your dream in any form either your sister, mother, mother in law or sister in law and gift you any fruits , vegetables or baby also. Once you get Mata Simsa in dream, first inform your Panditji available at Mata mandir. They will ask you to go and call your family members for Puja , darshan and pray to Mata Simsa. Jai Mata Simsa. Now once you go for prayer with Mata Prasad with family, tell Panditji about your dreams and what you get in dream , name of fruit, vegetables or baby. How important a dream can be... And what it can mean to you.. One would get to know it here... Traditionally know as Santan-Datti, means Goddess for Parents without child to be precise. Few points that I got to know 1. A women has to sleep in Temple area with 2 cloth (Kurta & Shirt) along with Chunni. 2. No Gold ornaments other than earing and nosepin ( if wearing) 3. Glass bangles to be wore during temple sleeping. 4. Throughout the time sleeping in temple- Lady has to be in fasting with only water and mishry. 5. Lady sleeps till she get dream of someone offering fruit. 6. If dream don't come even after sleeping for days, that's OK, can try some other time. Tourist Points 1. Jio network is very strong whereas Airtel is OK. Vodafone is very poor here. 2. Nearest Main Bus stop is Baijnath, then can take local buses. 3. Home stay are not so hygienic and don't expect an attached Bathroom.

Mata Simsa is a famous temple where the Goddess bestows the childless couple with blessings of a child.
