Simon Comfort - Inn in Kundapura - Udupi, India

Didn't like the hospitality and the rooms. All night we were struggling to kill mosquitoes. Day time, power problem. They don't give hot water. Rooms arent clean There are no service-boys For everything you have to walk up to reception The intercom doesn't work Cable TV is blocked, TV is just an item in the room They don't provide drinking water No in-house restaurant and food facility N number of issues, highly unrecommended lodging.

Very bad experience.They try to charge for everything possible. The receptionist sowmya sounds so rude. We had checked in as a family of 2 adults and 2 children. The cost was including breakfast. But no restaurant attached.They gave us 2 parcel packets of idli and asked us to pay for the children extra. They have 2 boys who do almost all work for this place.No water provided at rooms. If we ask for it we are charged Rs 20 again. Soumya calls u if you are 30 mins late of check out time to ask you to pay another days rent. They say it is rules and cannot do anything about it. Please avoid.

It's an average place to stay. They have timings on hot water availability. No restaurant attached. Tea and coffee is parcelled in plastic packets!! This should be your last resort

Unlike all the other reviewers who have marked this hotel as 'Average', the reason for me to rate it as 'Very Good' is the humble and courteous service by the hotel staff. Few things notable are: 1. The hotel is at a very peaceful and calm place somewhat away from the highway. 2. There is no restaurant or any breakfast served. 3. The bathrooms and the room are clean and maintained. 4. There is no telephone to call the reception in the room. If you just need a roof, this hotel is advisable and preferable to the other chaotic hotels like Sharon Hotel in Kundapur. (Stayed May 2016)

In hall getting bad smell and not Highgenic and clean one of the worst experience I think if you go this hotel then you waste your money from you pocket

Worst hotel ever seen in life because of below: Poor facilities No TV No hot water Fee is 1000/- per day (you can get best room in sharoon hotel Kundapura in the same price) School kind of strict and room recipient as well as service boy doesn't know how to communicate. Not worth for money, outsiders please don't judge Kundapura based on this our land has even good than this

Rooms are infested with cockroaches and my wife had to clean the room with broom. Didn't sleep throughout the night as the windows were not able to close and was very insecure.Worst hotel near beach side.

Food was good service was poor. I recommend to bring necessary changes in the service at earliest. My best wishes.
