Silver Star Resort - Resort hotel in Canacona - South Goa, India

We went to this beach restaurant and were happy with food quality and the service provided by the staff. We had ordered fish and chips, sea food sizzler and a coffee. All of it was good and reasonably priced. The place was clean and also had clean washrooms. The staff was courteous and helpful. We were initially here to shelter for a while due to rains but ended up having a hearty lunch.

The taste of the food was incredibly repulsive to the point where I had a nauseating sensation. Our order consisted of shrimp curry and chicken drums that were supposed to be heavenly, but unfortunately, they turned out to be anything but. This restaurant is one that should be avoided at all costs since it relies solely on its location to attract customers, rather than delivering quality meals. It's essential to steer clear of this establishment as it doesn't live up to its reputation and fails to provide a satisfying dining experience.

It is at a great location right on the Palolem beach. We sat for 2-3 hours in monsoon and the food was fairly good here. Price is reasonable if compared to Goa pricing. Don't expect too much and have a nice view of the beach. Staff is good. They accept cards.

The worst service. I will never recommend this place to anyone. On the palolem beach there are many beach facing cafes and restaurants. But never visit this one. First of all nobody is paying attention to the guests coming, seating and waiting. I called a service man loudly than only a service man came. That also he gave a menu which was already there on the table and went. Again We had to call him loudly. We ordered a club sandwich which was utterly rubbish. Ordered lemon soda and a banana shake which was cold in spite of telling him to bring it warm. That was ok nice. We were in a group of 6 friends. 4 of them came later in the restaurant. We all waited for a service man/waiter again to place an order. We called a service man also but he refused to come and ignored. We got up and went somewhere else. We paid 500 Rs. for this 3 items. (Club sandwich, banana shake and a lemon soda) Very poor service and the cost is touching the sky. Instead go a little further near the beach entrance. There are many eatery options at reasonable prices and not so expensive. The location is good in front of the beach. But no service and respect.

The food wasn't so good neither were the folks working. Tasted slightly stink. Better go around the street area to have decent food when you visit Palolem Beach.

Worst food I had at Goa. It's sucks!!! They put sugar in biryani... lol Waiters are not trained and don't know how to talk I came to know they don't give hike to loyal employees and kick them off. Don't go to this place for sure Very bad ambience and food. Ignore silver Star.

Terrible food with HAIR IN Biryani, when mentioned they were aggressive and asked to pay. I have mentioned the same review from my another account, because this was personal as they intimidated me and felt threatened. My girlfriend was worried about the behaviour. Spoilt my evening.

Pathetic stay at silver star. We booked two sea view rooms. AC was not working in one of them, there was seapage in ceiling. During rains rooms gets filled with water, blankets had fungus, dirty linens. Staff does not listens at all, owner doesn't picks up phone. Sea view was blocked with plastic to prevent water from coming but this further created even more dampness. There was spider web everywhere in room. Overall it's a health hazard, don't even think of booking this. Highly not recommended
