Unforgettable Disappointment at Silver Sands Serenity Hotel I recently stayed at Silver Sands Serenity Hotel, and my experience was far from satisfactory. From the very beginning, the lack of hospitality was evident. The receptionist, who I assumed was the manager, was incredibly rude and unhelpful. Despite having confirmation of my booking with breakfast included, she insisted that it wasn't and tried to charge us extra. Only after expressing our intention to cancel did she reluctantly offer a "complimentary" breakfast, which was far from the service we expected. Upon entering our room, I noticed it was marginally cleaner than the grimy corridors, but it still fell short of cleanliness standards. The peculiar addition of a small bathtub squeezed into the shower cubicle was both inconvenient and puzzling. The bathroom, in general, left much to be desired in terms of cleanliness. The shower's rainfall head was hanging from the ceiling, and the main shower head was broken, adding to our list of grievances. Furthermore, our dissatisfaction extended to the amenities. The television didn't work, a problem we discovered was due to the hotel's failure to renew their subscription. This basic oversight resulted in an additional inconvenience during our stay, highlighting the hotel's lack of attention to essential details. Breakfast was a disappointment as well; it was basic, and to make matters worse, the coffee machine was out of order, leaving us without the option for a morning coffee. During our stay, we encountered numerous issues that further marred our experience. The lifts were unreliable and even got stuck once, causing additional stress. Additionally, there were several power cuts within the last 24 hours, further inconveniencing the guests. To top it all off, while dealing with our own concerns, we overheard two other guests downstairs voicing their complaints about issues within their rooms. This unfortunate situation seemed to be a recurring theme during our stay, reflecting a pattern of problems within the hotel. Most disappointingly, the staff's lack of friendliness and uncooperative attitude added to our overall dissatisfaction. If given the opportunity, I would have sought a refund and left the hotel instantly. I would still leave the hotel now if i was able to. Based on my experience, I wouldn't consider staying at this hotel again, nor would I recommend it to anyone seeking a pleasant and comfortable stay. There's much room for improvement, and I hope future guests have a more positive experience than mine.
The hotel is located at a prime location in Candolim and the beach is at walking distance. The rooms are nice and spacious with great amenities. The buffet breakfast provides variety of foods and the staff is extremely polite and hospitable. Property Manager Mr. Reddy goes out the way to assure customer satisfaction. Highly recommended property with nice roof top pool. The staff also allowed us to check out late with no extra cost.
Basic need is water and hotel does not provide water. we had a 1 year kid who needed water and even after calling multiple times they never provided water. this happened all the 3 days we stayed. so finally I had to buy water from outside which makes no sense if I am staying at such hotel paying such hefty price and you need to buy water from outside.
I had a disappointing experience during my stay at this hotel. The room was not properly cleaned or maintained, which was evident from the moment I entered. The overall cleanliness left much to be desired, with dust and grime in various corners. The lack of professionalism among the staff was also evident, especially at the reception. The receptionist never greeted me with a smile and seemed disinterested in providing any assistance. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this hotel due to its poor cleanliness and unprofessional staff.
Great stay in experience and dine in experience at the hotel. This hotel is perfectly located at the market area, I think this would be stay at Candolim in terms of value for money and quality. They have parking, great bar overlooking the football ground, near to Cafe coffee day, public and private transportation to other parts of Goa.
Green covers on entire hotel makes it look like a construction site, it seems as if there is no hotel it's a construction site we are visiting. On complaining it was told greens curtains are must to protect water going to balcony. I have never seen a hotel with green curtains. But yes what else can be expected from a 4 star hotel One recommendation this hotel is worth 1200 per night and not more than that because it looks like an OYO. To be honest OYO hotels are better managed. Mood grown curtains are added benefit. Pool is really with awesome view expect that the basin is water clogged, it adds 4 stars to hotels pool with beach view. There has been proper segregation of garbage and kitchen vegetables they were properly kept separate 10 cm away including medical waste. 4 star manager Mr reddy is more busy to address concern and is more busy then ceo of a big mnc. After all he does a tremendous job of spanking his staff in front of guests making it again an incomparable 4 star hotels.
C grade Rooms. C Grade Staff. Rooms had cockroaches. No proper room service. Smell of dead mouse over the property. Dirty Towels. Stale Food. Staff was very non-cooperative. Mosquitos problem. Didnt even provide all-out. Staff has no manners. Very unprofessional Hotel. Visit this property if you wish to spoil your Goa expierience. Breakup Friendly property. Do visit here with your partner if you wish to break up with her.
No doubt The hotel's location is close to the the beach, but the hotel's service is very poor. They are not bothered about Customers. At reception on the first day was where the bad impression started. Whatever the images uploaded for accommodations in internet, which is not the case. The rooms were unhygienic and filthy. They promote themselves as 3 and 4 Stars. But that is not the case. This could be a very excellent property if a good manager hired and able understand customer issues and monitor the cleanliness of the rooms.
