SILVER ARCH FAMILY RESTAURANT & BAR - Family restaurant in Shiroor - Udupi, India

I am writing this review while getting the order on table. While traveling we saw this attractive location on national highway.Only 2 groups were present in hotel on two tables. Since we have travelled a long way, we first looked for wash basin. It is right in front of the entrance, but without hand wash. We asked the staff for the same, where in they questioned us back, "oh, its not there?". We then ordered the fastest available dishes. Within 20 minutes we got the starter, without spoons or forks. We requested for same, again the staff's reaction was surprised one. Meantime even the main course arrived but forks and spoons were still no where to be seen.Once again we remind him for fork and after taking some time he finally gave them hushh..it was not good experience,food quality was an average.

Good service and good food. Chicken lollipop were good. Wait staffs were attentive. Restaurant area was clean. Mushroom Kadai and Paneer kolapuri were really good. Chicken sukka was not upto expectation, it was more of a gravy chicken curry. Hot and Sour soup was big failure. It was actually an extremely spicy onion curry. Really bad toilet. Do not stop here if you r family nees to go while on highway.

So so place. And bad taste. Seems good was not fresh. We had chicken, prawns , neer dosa . All ok ok

Stop here for lunch or dinner when passing by. Clean, hygienic, very friendly and prompt staff. Great food choices , quality ingredients and they cook it without throwing in a ton of chilli powder like most places. Extremely reasonable prices. Very clean ambience. Don't miss this place

Gobi Manchurian was one of the dish that we ordered at the time of our visit. it was spoiled dish they served us. I wouldn't visit here agin.

Surprisingly wonderful restaurant on the way from Murudeshwar to Udupi. The hotel is located in Shiroor and the staff are extremely friendly and courteous. They were also able to ensure that food was served with less spice as per our request (as we had children who preferred low spice). The location was very clean and hygienic. Has ample parking too.

I am very much disappointed today attending this restaurant. We had enquired if it's purely veg and also if family place is seperate or not. Since there was bar too next to the restaurant which was from Silver Arch. We encounter people were allowed to sit in family side of restaurant and drink there. I had to request them, even no help and walk out straight from hotel. Since I was with family and was not able to tolerate such behaviour of staff who allowed the drinks within Family area.
