Visited during monsoon four years back. Though the condition of roads was not good and problem of leeches was there, also the Kanchenjunga was not seen due to cloudy weather, still everything was compensated by the greenery and fresh beauty of nature.

Well frankly speaking, it's your regular village-&-mountain retreat. Right, retreat. If you wanna run away from your day to day life, go and spend one day there. But just one, not more. Issues: 1. Network connectivity 2. The road leading to the actual village from the main road is hectic. 3. Leeches everywhere. 4. You won't like the food. Boons: 1. If you are lucky, a mesmerizing view of the queen of mountains Kanchenjunga. 2. You can locate the splendour of Teesta valley from the Ramitay view point ( given u can climb up almost 4 kms). 3. Tea or coffee tastes more delicious here. So make your call wisely.

It is not a offbeat destination anymore.Although a small village in the lap of mountains is always beautiful but this place somehow has lost its hilly-vibes! The main reason is so many tourists and their chaotic stay, they were all drinking and playing loud music.. Destroying the calmness of this place. I was a bit disappointed but the view of Kanchenjunga was great

They will provide you bonfire features and it take money to get the services of course. You can chill there late night, can feel the nature, can get the sound of river. The experience will be memorable for you. The services of the people there are good. The dogs of this place are friendly and they will give you company while getting morning view of this place. you can get good experience of sunrise and can experience the good air quality with artistic view of nature. Silerygaon is a off beat destination where you can enjoy your holiday with friends and family. This place is kids friendly and you can go there with your children. The behaviour of the people here is good. They will provide you breakfast, lunch, dinner. You can achieve the experience of bathing in the river. The water of this river is crystal clear and chilled. This will be your life time achievement. The employees of the homestay will provide you the opportunity to get tandoor. You can enjoy it with your drink. Lastly, it will be your memorable adventureous trip undoubtedly.
