Siliserh Lake Palace is a good place to visit. It is just a 3.5-hour drive from Delhi and makes a good option for a one day visit, too. The entry ticket is Rs.100 per adult. The views of the lake and surrounding hills from the palace are beautiful. Boating in the lake is also possible, and a separate ticket has to be purchased for that. There are three options available for boating - speed boat (@Rs. 2000 per boat), motor boat (@Rs 1200 per boat), and Jetski (@Rs.800). Siliserh Lake has many crocodiles, and one can spot them during boating, too. There is a restaurant which offers quite a spread. Food was tasty, and they provide good-sized portions, too. Accommodation is also available and can be booked online. Parking is available, but the space is limited. Couldn't find a wheel chair accessible path, and one has to climb a lot of stairs. Overall, it is a good place to visit all, including families and kids.
Nice location. Great view. It could be better with more renovations, especially at the boating area and the structure below the ground toward the lake side.
Our experience of the lake was great and as we visited in rain it enhanced out experience but the problem is not about the view from the palace it is about the condition of palace. It didn't looked like maintained at all and on top of that they run a bar there but no rules or regulations for drinking in palace, people just roaming around the whole palace with beer bottles in their hand. That was the worst experience for a lake palace. Everything else was fine, there is a diner at top, Go there and chill. Stay safe.
Nothing special there but You will get a good lake view. Boating is there and it's overpriced. Seems like a private property and you have to pay 100rs per pax as a ticket charged or parking whatever( include one non-alcoholic beverage as well). You can find one bar there as well. I didn't visit so can't say more about that and offering.
Nestled on the outskirts of Alwar en route to the Sariska Tiger Reserve, offers a captivating experience. The natural lake, cradled by the Aravali hills, presents a mesmerizing panorama. Rumors of crocodiles add an intriguing element. The RTDC Hotel, Lake Palace, provides comfortable accommodation and dining choices, enhancing the overall stay. The culinary options are commendable, and alternative lodging can be found on the opposite side of the lake. However, the presence of numerous monkeys, limited parking, and occasional fog obscuring the view are notable drawbacks.
Good place , but monkey menace .Spoils the peace . Heritage hotel but no tea coffee provision in the rooms . One small soap is provided, No shampoo or moisturizer. Very good chef , good and fresh food .
Beautiful place with lovely green sarrunding. Hugs of water in the lake I am shoking to know that a big size lake near by me. people who are in search of peace
Our visit to the lake was delightful, especially since we experienced it during the rain, which added to the charm. However, the main issue was not the view from the palace but rather the condition of the palace itself. Regrettably, it appeared to be poorly maintained, and to our dismay, there was a bar operating within the palace premises without any apparent rules or regulations regarding drinking. This led to people freely roaming around the entire palace with beer bottles in hand, which significantly marred the experience of being at a lake palace. Despite this disappointment, everything else was satisfactory, and we particularly enjoyed the diner located at the top. If you visit, I recommend heading there to relax and enjoy the experience.
It's a very beautiful lake just for the purpose of photography. You can go and enjoy. There will be a cost of Rs.400. I went in the month of July. When boating is off so if you are going, please check that boating is on then it's worth going to this
