The place is full of vibes. Come in cloudy season or in rainy season and you can enjoy with a beer as well in house. Also the view is also great. Ancient palace is not that good maintained actually but yes we can enjoy anywhere

It's a very beautiful lake just for the purpose of photography. You can go and enjoy. There will be a cost of Rs.400. I went in the month of July. When boating is off so if you are going, please check that boating is on then it's worth going to this place otherwise you will see this lake from the fort.

Siliserh lake is situated 8 miles southwest of Alwar. It cover an area of about 7 (up to 10 square km with good monsoon) square km and are flanked by dense woodland and cenotaphs on its embankment. It was Built in 1845 by Maharaja Vinay Singh, the then-ruler of Alwar, by constructing an embankment/bund on tributary of river Ruparel. The lake and the aqueducts that surround it were built to provide water to Alwar. The lake is flanked by its namesake palace, which was built at the king for his wife.Palace is now converted to Rtdc hotel. Boating facility also available. Tourists generally visit the Neemrana Palace, the Sariska National Park and Jai Samand Lake before or after exploring the beautiful Siliserh Lake. The lake is about 30 to 40 minutes away from the city of Alwar. There is an entry fee of INR 100 to reach the lake site. Being a tourist place, there is a boating ride also available for the tourists. A typical six-seater motor boat ride can be bought at INR 800 which lasts for about 30 minutes. Sure, the boat ride if one of the best things to do to enjoy this expansive lake. But, bird watchers can bring their camera to capture the sights of the migratory birds and more species of winged creatures. The lake site generally remains windy and the water is quite clear. The presence of Aravalli Hills in the backdrop of the lake is perfect to enjoy a picnic on a pleasant day out. The lake is also home to crocodiles in some parts; the boatmen ensure they do not ferry the tourists in the reptile-infested areas. There is a restaurant at the lake site which serves humble Rajasthan cuisine. Also, the palace is also worth visiting. Tourists from Delhi can easily reach Siliserh Lake in about three and a half hours. The best time to visit the lake site is in the cooler months starting from November to February.

If u want to go for a short trip where u can have a great view from height, also with a boating facility, also u can see, wild sanctuary nearby if you want to go, come to this place. Good place for a break, tea and food available here, open siting area with beautiful view.
