Siliguri is cosmopolitan city which is placed in the foothills of Himalayas, so the weather become unpredictable always. From the city it's just 15km by road which takes approx 0.5hr to touch the bottom of the slopes of the hill. In your weekend you can go to numerous places from siliguri to travel and feel the blissful nature in the mountains. The famous food you must try is momo which you can get almost every lane in the city and even in the hills. If you are driving or riding vehicle you should carry all the valid documents required by the traffic orelse you may land by paying heavy fines. Being a gateway City it has well constructed roads, malls, hotels, restaurants, hospitals, etc.
