The entire tour of Sikkim and Darjiling was full of entertainment and our Group has enjoy the tour very nicely. But the cab driver for Darjiling site seen was little rude with the our family,which you as a tour operator should notice for future. We also appreciate that the cab driver named Mr.Vishwas in Sikkim was excellent ,noble and well cultured person.

The trip was organised and well planned. We were given a very well informed driver who made it possible for us to cover a lot of spots. The hotel that were booked had a very cooperative staff. You all should definitely give them a chance if you are planning a trip.

Don't take the package from them, their services are worst. Their only aim is to extract a hefty sum from the customers without providing any satisfactory services. Their organiser namely Satish Dey is only to dupe you, despite making the full payment for the package, they charge money at every step and on objection, they threaten you that they will withdraw their services. They promise you to provide best services and best hotels, whereas when you reach the destination, things take an ugly turn. We were promised the best hotels but when you reach the destination/hotel, they are not decent enough and not as per the money charged from us.

Our tour operator spring valley holidays had given unparallel services in sikkim , they are really very experienced and good people. I don't usually take time to post negative reviews but this is an outcome of our terrible experience with Spring Valley Holiday Club. It's gonna be lengthy but if you're planning your holidays with Spring Valley, then this is a MUST READ. We planned 7 days 6 nights stay at Sikkim with Spring Valley Holidays, and later realised it was one of the worst decisions of our life. Right from the start we faced issues. The driver arranged by them took breaks very leisurely because of which we had to arrive 2 hours late at our destination. They arranged different drivers for the fore coming days, none of them took their job serious. First day plan was to visit Narula, Chengue Lake and Baba Harbhajan Singh mandir. We had paid 6K for 2 people to visit Natula. We waited for more than an hour yet the driver never showed up. Later, we had to pay extra on top of paying the agency, to arrange a private cab for ourselves and get permit at the last moment. It cost only 2K per person. In fact, the nominal cost to visit natula is around Rs.700 per head if you arrange for a 7 seater vehicle and share the cost among your Co-passengers (Rs.5000/vehicle). We then realised we were over charged. The driver didn't take us to the banks of Chengue lake and it's market. Instead he told us to take pics of Chengue lake from road itself. We insisted to get down at the market which the driver defied, saying some non sense as reasons. On top of it, he lied us saying the Baba Mandir was closed, which was actually very much open at the time he was mentioning. We happened to know this from a fellow tourist couple, whom we happened to meet in Natula. Second day started with a last minute change of driver, it again delayed our journey. We complained about the same to travel coordinator but all we got was a simple sorry, the time we lost is just lost. We headed from Gangtok to Lachung and reached Hotel Klifton Dhokam, which Satish (Spring Valley Holiday coordinator) had booked on our behalf. One of the worst hotels you can find in Lachung is the Klifton Dhokam hotel. The rooms were so small that we had to take pain to settle ourselves in the hotel. There were only like 3 people who run the hotel, none of them will be available at the reception and neither will you have a number to reach out for help. There were no CCTVs too. Even at the time of checkout there were no one at the reception, and we had to wait for 30 minutes. The worst part staying at this hotel is getting food poisoned. Next day we were supposed to visit zero point and Yumthang valley. My wife got sick in the morning half itself and had severe stomachache plus vomiting. She could barely be conscious at that point. WORSE, we had another trouble heading towards us. Our driver stopped in the mid way from Lachung to Gangtok, stating that there was some money pending for settlement from Spring Valley Holidays and he won't move the vehicle an inch until the payment issue is resolved. We were shocked as we had already paid the full amount to Spring Holidays when we booked the trip. Imagine a person's situation when he had to deal with an emergency, wife feeling sick due to food poisoning and in parallel, he needs to communicate with 4 different people at once over mobile in a place where mobile network availability is at the least. It was a NIGHTMARE for us, that too for a couple who had planned their honeymoon. We remained strangled in the same spot for more than an hour in place which was a mid of nowhere and ask for help in a language which we don't understand or speak. The people in charge (Satish and Pooja) weren't quick to resolve the issue and neither seem to have any authoritative word against the driver's action. Especially, Pooja was arrogant in her tone with us during the conversation. You can assume how the rest of the honeymoon trip would've went with my wife falling sick. The owner of Spring Holiday denied any compensation for the bad experience and didn't care to even apologise
