A man-made lake in the Ziro valley of Arunachal Pradesh, India, is called Siikhe Lake. It's the state's first artificial lake. The lake appears natural because of the pine woods, undulating hills, and verdant meadows that encircle it. The Arunachal Pradesh government established the lake as part of the Water Conservation Project Scheme. It was built using an earthen embankment that is 165 meters wide and 8 meters high to span the Siikhe stream, a tributary of the Kley river. Siikhe Lake is a hidden man-made lake surrounded by greenery of blue pines, food points and home stays. Just the outskirts of old ziro there is another amazing view point of Ziro valley. Nice resort, designed may be created for some impression of uniqueness but it needs to be well maintained. Hope this location will be developed more by its popularity in upcoming days.

This place is just beautiful but it's currently going through a lot of construction and remodeling as people are trying to make it more tourist friendly. The view while it rains is breathtaking. Another drawback is the route to this place as shown in the Google map is totally wrong, there's a perfect road which leads to this place so I'd suggest ask the local people instead just following Google map
Siikhe Lake is a beautiful lake with boating and great views for photography. It's a peaceful place to relax and enjoy nature
Siikhe lake located just in outskirts of old zero. Surrounded by forests it's really beautiful. Recently hindi movie Bhediya was shot here. Lake gives you calming vibes it has a certain freshness to it. One can enjoy boating and picnics aa well. Must visit if you are around the area.
