One of the best trek to experience. We visited on a weekday so the fort was fully for us only there was no one other than us. Its bit difficult to find the way to the top but one of the trekking group has marked the route by stone balancing, some of the stones had fallen but we again put it up for future trekkers. Most of the trek is on Rocky patches and you need to climb and get down very carefully. Also there are no food stalls as this fort is less visited in Monsoon so carry ur stuff along.

Amazing place. We didn't get good view, as it was very foggy. But very challenging climb. We started from Borwadi village. We hired guide. He charged 1k. Borwadi to Plateau : ~300m elevation, 1.2km, 1hr Plateau walk : ~50m elevation, 1km, 15mins Plateau to Balekilla top: ~300m 1km, 1hr20mins While descending we took different route. Descended down to main road, 1.5 km ahead from borwadi village. 2nd route can also be used for climb. Comparatively long but easy route. Should be done by regular trekkers(if planning to go to balekilla). Not at all recommended for beginners. All the routes merges at plateau and one common road goes to balekilla.

Fort comes under reserved forest. Don't bring plastic here. Trek starts from Borwadi village. Total trek is 3 to 3:30 hours. You can take a guide if you want from village, but you can also proceed of your own. You can see Gorakhgad, Padargad, Chanderi forts once you reach the top. Trek comes under difficult category. Bring 2 to 3 litre water for each, bring some snacks with you. You can have meal at borwadi village provided by villagers at some cost.

One of the thrilling trek . Siddhagad fort is located 20 kilometres from Murbad . The fort stands 838 metres (2,749 ft) above sea level and is built on a spur which overlooks the road of the village of Borwadi . Borwadi and narivali are the base villages for trekking . Trek ranges from moderate to hard . Gorakhgad is completely visible from siddhgad

It has a medium to difficult trek to reach to the top. The fort is under reserved forest jurisdiction thus entry and exit has specific times. That leaves very small amount of time to reach the fortress and come back. Starting early is strongly suggested. The trek is difficult and in monsoon it is suggested to either avoid it or use proper safety equipments. It is very thrilling experience to reach to the top of this fortress.

Quite and serene ... Not much explored by trekkers yet..you could either trek or walk till the falls. We went in October and there was very little in the waterfalls so would suggest go there only during rains July - august would be best that's what the guard at the entrance suggested us. The road leading up to the waterfalls us a tar one but not smooth. Also the best way to reach this place is by your own vehicle.

This fort is not that much popular in trekkers like its neighbor Gorakhgad. You can reach at the top of fort by 2 ways. From narivali village ani from borwadi village which we followed. You can reach borwadi village only by your personal vehicle as borvadi is situated approx 5.5km from main road and no public transport available upto borwadi. We went here on last week of november. Trek was much difficult than we imagine. You have to cross some risky rock patch to reach at siddhagad wadi which is mid way of the mountain. Can't imagine to go here in rainy season as its very much sleepry. After reaching sidddhgad wadi after 1-2 hr u can see balekilla behind. Again from here you have to be very careful to reach at top this path is very mich steeper and from edge of Cliff. One small mistake can take u fell down badly in valley. This trek may remind you harihar, kalavantin and gorkhgad rock patches if you ever have been there before. Please avoid to go in rainy season to minimize risk
